We had a great stay! We were especially happy with the location, the travels to and from the house went smoothly and there are shops and a bus stop close by. Thanks Pierre+fam!

What a beautiful place to stay! The location is very quiet and special with views from every room, lots of light and a lovely garden. Marlies and her husband were welcoming and helpful. The decor was tasteful and cozy and even with many guests the house was spacious. In the kitchen there was plenty of crockery to cover nicely for a dinner in the house. Highlights were the ping pong table and (tuned) piano!

We had a really nice stay of three nights in Hiaure at the “koetshuis”. The little house is very cozy and the surroundings are so peaceful. We found everything we needed to make meals and we enjoyed the hottub while looking at the stars at night. 10/10 would visit again!

Very nice and quite house in the nature but also close to the City of Dokkum. We really liked to stay there and Nynke and Piet are super nice!

If you want to know something new about the house and amenities, we can't add comments to the fantastic description and many guests. A beautiful, cute Frisian cottage. But what we can tell you: we have never experienced such great hosting qualities as Gaby and Peter's. Such a warmth, whether via short reports or live on the phone. As if you've known each other for a long time. In addition, there is the almost limitless trust in the guests. Experienceable by: Everything is open, everything is filled, you can use everything. Beautiful and cozy house in a beautiful part of Holwerd. Large living room with dining table and kitchen, which is well stocked with equipment and supplies. I think Annet is a friendly and very helpful host.

What a beautiful view, within walking distance beach and Nes, where there is much to experience. The cottage itself is complete and basic. Fully equipped, nothing missing and everything works.

Great stay at Petra's place. Very relaxed, a truly re-charging experience.

There were four of us (children 2 and 7 years old) on vacation here. The apartment is well equipped, located in a quiet hotel complex. The highlight of every day was the swimming pool! You're there in a minute, just great for kids! The surroundings are magical, Hollum is a wonderful little place and the sea is of course unsurpassed. You can park the car and bicycles right outside the door. All in all highly recommended!

We felt right at home! Super flexible check-in and check-out, and very clean. Marjolijn is a super welcoming host with a great eye for interior. I especially loved the hand made ceramics!

We had a great time in Hollum. The place is beautiful and the complex where the apartment is located really nice. The beach of hollum is a dream!

The apartment is simply fantastic! The central location between the dyke and the beach invites you to extensive bike rides. From the dining table you have a fantastic view over the fields to the dyke. We were warmly welcomed by Ineke and Peter. The apartment is exactly as described in the photos. There's plenty of space for two. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. If you have any questions, hosts were available at any time. If something was missing (which it didn't), you would have been grateful for feedback. Shopping and bike rental are close by. We felt very comfortable; it was really hard to say goodbye! We will be happy to come back!

As described, lovely place to stay for couple of days exploring Hollum. The stairs upstairs as really steep, my kids are 10/12 and managed ok…. Really young kids may struggle. Very comfortable, and would recommend to others.

A great apartment right behind the dunes. Very large living room with balcony and great views of the dunes. Good starting point for walks on the beach and bike rides on the island. The apartment is very well equipped with dishwasher, many kitchen appliances, washing machine. The mattresses are comfortable.

Amazing stay! Just dont forget to bring your own linen (bed/towels) or contact the owner before hand, as it can be added as an extra charge. I sadly hadnt seen it before but it was no easy and very quickly resolved!

The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Renske's home is nestled in the last village of the island, and a moment's walk into the dunes. So it was perfect for us who were searching for peace, quiet, and nature. The kitchen was spacious with great amenities, and the bedrooms were soo cozy! It was a bit challenging to find her home. It's amidst several other homes/doors. There was no sign, whether with a name or number, on an outside wall like other cottages/doors did. So we asked neighbours who were out and about if they could help us find the correct cottage, which we did. Renske was super supportive with my questions with prompt responses, I really appreciated her warmth. Thank you for having us Renske!

Beautiful play area, very large with pool table dart board ping pong table. In addition, a sauna and plunge pool, luxurious cottage.

Very nice rural place to stay. To the dike just a few minutes by car and near Dokkum for shopping and restaurants. Yfke was very nice and gave helpful tips for things to do as well as restaurants. Also available in the room are information brochures for the environment. I'd love to recommend again and absolutely.

My two children (12 and 16 years) and I felt very comfortable in the apartment. There's everything you need. Kitchen and living area are on the ground floor and generously glazed - easily visible from the street. However, there is a privacy screen to lower. A supermarket and downtown are within walking distance. There is also a bus stop with good connections in all directions right in front of the house. We liked Leeuwarden as a city overall.

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!
