Excellent stay once again at Croft end, our second time here. Perfect peace and solitude for our 25th wedding anniversary.

It was a pleasure to be in Scotland this week, tired because we didn't stop for a day, but when we got home we were so well that we could rest and regain strength for the next day. The beds are the best I've found on my travels. Everything was perfect. Britta is a sweetheart

The farmhouse is very spacious yet cosy too. It was a little difficult to find in the dark but Sophie guided us on the phone. The young adults in our family would have appreciated better WiFi connectivity than in just a few rooms but other than that we had a really enjoyable stay, close to our relatives in Forfar. Would definitely stay again.

Rebecca's house is gorgeous and the living space is very welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub after long beach walks. The garden is very private, perfect for us and our dogs. Rebecca was very proactive, responsive and all the instructions were very clear. We had a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend Rebecca's house to anyone wanting to explore Montrose and surrounding areas.

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Lovely cottage, with amazing views and lovely local walks. Great place for people with dogs as very safe. Hot tub and fire pit in the garden, plus cafes within walkable distance also made it fun our teenager. Perfect place if you're looking for a peaceful, stress free break.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage which we mainly used as a place to stay for skiing at Flanders, but the whole area is lovely for walking otherwise. Bob was great at showing us around and how to use the hot tub etc, and arriving was very easy. Bob even let us charge our EV using an external socket which of course we paid for. Having a dishwasher, vacuum, a washing machine and a dryer was a real bonus as it makes it easy to keep everything clean. I'm sure most people don't go to the Scottish Highlands for its internet access, but it's worth noting that the WiFi is very slow (~0.2mbps) meaning that it's not a place to come with a laptop and try to work.

We arrived a bit early but the accommodation was ready for us before official check in time. Beautiful location, grounds were so tranquil, facilities excellent and accommodation provided everything we needed. The usual extras needed to provide for self catering were well provided for, from plentiful logs, kindling, dishwasher tablets, kitchen extras like tin foil, and the fullest range of utensils. Gym facilities excellent. Lots to see and do nearby and a sea view from one of the well maintained hot tubs. Lovely hosts who responded to enquiries immediately. Would highly recommend this location for couples and families alike.

Stayed here for a week with my husband, five year old son, mother in law and dog. It’s a wonderful, charming place in a stunning location, ideal for dog owners as you are free to explore the beautiful estate that surrounds the lodge. The property is equipped with everything you could need and the beds are particularly comfortable with lovely bedding. Hosts are very friendly and responsive and went out of their way to meet our needs. The local area is gorgeous and great for families. Lunan Bay is a short drive away and is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, in my opinion. The WiFi is not particularly strong or consistent but that’s normal for a rural area. Highly recommended.

We had a really lovely stay at Louis' cottage during our winter trip. The location is quite easy to find given the area is surrounded by fields. The view from the cottage is so beautiful and tranquil. The central heating keeps us warm and toasty. Kitchen has plenty of utensils and appliances for us to cook our breakfast. Highly recommended!

We were extremely happy with Lundie Gate House. It’s our second time there and everything was perfect. There was lots of crafts, games and toys to keep our two granddaughters amused. Jacqueline left lots of lovely treats for us and the girls. We had a lovely time there and look forward to going back another time.

Fiona is a great host. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and the cottage is well equipped and cosy.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Difficult drive for the last 3 miles with single track roads but well worth it for the peace and tranquility. Sandy is the host who lives next door and has thought of many extras to use if you wish to. Fenced paddock for the dogs, sheep as neighbours and also had a deer walk up the driveway one morning. Just what my husband and I needed.

The Old Scout Hall more than met our expectations. Beautifully presented, very clean and tidy. Accommodation was exactly what we needed. James was also very helpful when we needed extra car parking. Would highly recommend this.

Lovely cosy home from home. Comfortable beds, warm under floor heating, big living room, lovely views.

We had a lovely stay—everything was super clean, comfortable, and just as described. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break, and we really enjoyed the sauna. Great walks from the cottage too and scenery. WiFi was great and cottage had everything you needed , including a first aid kit and toys for kids etc lots of extra touches. A couple of small things to note: The grass could have used a quick cut, but that’s a small thing and didn’t take away from the overall experience and the BBQ was also a little rusty inside and could use a clean, though we had brought a disposable one just in case. Overall, it’s a great spot and we’d be more than happy to return and recommend it!

Location was handy for broughty ferry town, could easily walk to water front, eateries etc. Handy location for going to Dundee itself or as a base for other east neuk locations. Cottage was clean, comfortable with great amenities. Host Pip was great, very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable for local things to do particularly as we had quite rainy weather and 2 young kids to entertain. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Pips place in future.

Craig could not be a better host, very attentive and willing to help, even over the festive period.

The cottage was so homely and had everything we needed. The view of the castle and the sea was stunning. The host, Steve popped over to say hello and check if we were happy with everything which was a lovely touch. The kids loved being so close to Broughty Ferry beach and Park which is just a five minute walk from the cottage. Having a pub with great food next door was handy too but the cottage had everything you needed to have a cosy night in and cook. We can't wait to go again next year.

We had a very nice stay at Garden House. The location is peaceful and convenient, and the house is clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions. Overall, it was a great experience—would recommend!

The property was warm and cosy and was perfect for a family Xmas. The extra room across the courtyard was very useful when dining with a larger number as the kitchen is a little cramped to all get around the table. Remainder of property was spacious and very well appointed. A great place to spend time in.

Winding up through the rolling country hills, we felt we were with Alice, in Wonderland! Quaint house, with spectacular views, sunrise, sunset, quails, white bunnies and a strutting turkey, we arrived to a warm burning wood stove. Hannah and her tin hous met all of our needs, above and beyond! Would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

A lovely little place with everything we needed for our stay. Spotless and well equipped. Situated on a quiet, peaceful little street - we found parking easier further up the hill. Thank you, Kirsten!
