Croftend Cottage hot tub Brewlands Estate Glenisla

ZacharyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage offers great space for the guests and is in a nice quiet area with pretty surroundings. Simon and the team are friendly and very open and ready to accommodate or offer local suggestions. It took a little to realize you may need to manage the thermometer lest the heat turn off, and don't miss the note about utility charges. They cover a certain amount but could expect around 60 gbp in utility fee for about 4 folks to stay a few nights. Overall we had a great stay here and loved the space for our trip. The heated blankets on the beds were a nice touch to have too.

Fir Tree Cottage

EulaliaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
It was a pleasure to be this week in Scotland, tired because we didn't stop for a day but when we returned home we were so good that it allowed us to rest and take strength for the next day. The beds are the best I've ever encountered on my travels. Everything is perfect. Britta is a charm

Crosston Farmhouse - a large country style cottage

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The farmhouse is very spacious yet cosy too. It was a little difficult to find in the dark but Sophie guided us on the phone. The young adults in our family would have appreciated better WiFi connectivity than in just a few rooms but other than that we had a really enjoyable stay, close to our relatives in Forfar. Would definitely stay again.

Capo Farmhouse - dog friendly. Hot tub & fire pit

Malcolm KennethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Capo Farmhouse is a true gem to find. From the clear and accurate pictures you can really see what the house & surrounding area is going to be. What the pics do not convey is how spacious and private the house is. This is an incredible part of the world and using Capo Farmhouse (&cottages) as a base to explore from is an honour. And, if you want to stay close to 'home' the Farmhouse is absolutely the best place to do this. They have a great array of games, the hot tub, the beautiful gardens and lovely walks close by without having to drive. We would highly recommend the Farmhouse and the standout features for us are the cosy feel of the place with the fire on. The ridiculously comfortable beds. The amazing surroundings and how private & peaceful it is. Just remember to take your own coffee!

Lovely cottage, with amazing views and lovely local walks. Great place for people with dogs as very safe. Hot tub and fire pit in the garden, plus cafes within walkable distance also made it fun our teenager. Perfect place if you're looking for a peaceful, stress free break.

Rowan Tree Cottage - S4216

AdrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic stay at the cottage which we mainly used as a place to stay for skiing at Flanders, but the whole area is lovely for walking otherwise. Bob was great at showing us around and how to use the hot tub etc, and arriving was very easy. Bob even let us charge our EV using an external socket which of course we paid for. Having a dishwasher, vacuum, a washing machine and a dryer was a real bonus as it makes it easy to keep everything clean. I'm sure most people don't go to the Scottish Highlands for its internet access, but it's worth noting that the WiFi is very slow (~0.2mbps) meaning that it's not a place to come with a laptop and try to work.

The Gate Lodge, Lundie Castle

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We’re normally ready to go home after a trip away but this time we did not want to leave! It’s a wonderfully peaceful place with all the amenities you could need and an array of thoughtful extras supplied by the host. Our dog Nellie settled in so fast and loved the garden. Thanks Jacqueline and Mark for your kind hospitality and your prompt response when we needed your help!

Cosy-secluded-getaway-stunning loch view

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I recently stayed at Bellsden Cottage for two months over Christmas and New Year, and I had the most wonderful break. The surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife that made every day feel special. The cottage itself was perfect—not just for me but also for my Dalmatian, who loved the space and the peaceful environment. It’s a truly dog-friendly place, which is a huge plus for pet owners. The owner was incredibly friendly and informative throughout my stay, always available to help or offer advice about the local area. Their hospitality really made me feel welcome and at home. I would highly recommend Bellsden Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. I’ll definitely be back!

South Lochton Lodge

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A beautiful lodge, that felt secluded and remote, but was a stones throw from both Perth and Dundee. It is also just under an hour from Glenshee ski field, which was great for our stay. The large garden with brilliant views was loved by the kids and we all loved the cosy living room, complete with log burner. Heather was responsive throughout and very helpful. Overall the accommodation offered superb value and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Twiga Cottage, Carnoustie by the Beach

CarolRating, 5 stars43 months ago
Twiga Cottage was a great location for our stay in Carnoustie. Within walking distance from the town’s amenities and located in a beautiful coastal setting the cottage was perfect for a 2 person stay. The cottage had everything required in terms of kitchen equipment, appliances etc and came with bedding and towels provided. Our host Wilma made us feel very welcome and was able to provide much appreciated local knowledge. Communication from booking process to arrival was excellent. Yes there is a railway line at the back of the property but in all honesty the train noise was not an issue and did not detract from our stay. We’d highly recommend a stay at Twiga Cottage

Scottheme cottage superking bed, ideal locale, pets

StephenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Excellent stay. From first contact Fiona was so helpful and flexible, and had added some wonderful little extras to make the place even more homely for us and our dog. Spotlessly clean, and although dog friendly, there was no sign of dog hairs or wear and tear than can sometimes be found with a dog friendly property. Centrally located for Blairgowrie and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. A great stay, highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Coorie Cottage, Broughty Ferry

JeanetteRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Pip's house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and she left us a bottle for new year and lots of little extras. The house was lovely and warm and the bathroom was really modern with a new walk in power shower. The house is situated in a lovely area and has parking and a bus stop just outside. it's only 10 mins walk to the main streets where you have lots of nice restaurants, pubs and shops and the lovely beach and castle. Broughty Ferry itself is such a nice place and if we are ever planning on returning, we would know where to stay. Pip communicated great with us and was on hand should we have needed anything which we didn't as everything was perfect. Would highly recommend this house and host. Jeanette, Glasgow

Rannagulzion-The Serene Lodge

MarkRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The property was warm and cosy and was perfect for a family Xmas. The extra room across the courtyard was very useful when dining with a larger number as the kitchen is a little cramped to all get around the table. Remainder of property was spacious and very well appointed. A great place to spend time in.

Scottish Rural Retreats* cosy+characterful TinHous

We had a lovely weeks stay in Hannah's property over the festive period. The property is beautifully furnished and is set out in the countryside so it is very peaceful. We enjoyed using the woodburner and watching red squirells through the window. The property is well located for exploring the Angus Glens and the coast and we would highly recommend staying here.
