Gorgeous cabin. The woods were pristine after a stunning snowfall! The hot tub was perfect. Great weekend getaway!

Such a pleasure to rest and relax at the cabin! Beautiful hills to wander, sweet dogs to pet, and of course a great hot tub. Worth it in winter, would love to come back in autumn to check out fall colors.

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

The place was a wonderful winter retreat. Deer outside the window in the evening. A river otter popping up through the ice in the morning. All the firewood you need to stay warm, plus in-floor heat. The loft bedroom was excellent, but the ladder to get there is not for folks with mobility issues, however there is another bed on the main level for folks who need it. Liz was very communicative and helpful. Was a wonderful stay.

Heidi’s home was so cozy and relaxing. Easy check in. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was big and had a great view of the lake. The Pioneer Grill down the road was a really good restaurant. We will definitely be back!

I was very impressed with the place by the lake very nice Sadie is a great person and had the opportunity to meet her at the venue that my son was having his wedding reception. We are already planning our next visit. Also the Hot Tub was ready to go when we got there Thanks John

We wanted a quiet get away for a short mom’s trip and this place was perfect! The 3 season porch was perfect and the hot tub was the icing on the cake! Perfect size for 4 moms with all the amenities we needed and so cozy to play board games, kick back and read or sit in the hot tub with a drink. We will definitely be back!

A small group of friends and I stayed here for our annual girls winter weekend getaway. We look for a cozy cabin where we can hunker down and relax for the weekend. This place was perfect! It was very comfortable and homey. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes and pot and pans for cooking dinner in. There were also a few local eateries that we checked out and they were delicious. Having two bathrooms was really nice! The beds were also very comfortable! We all slept well and were very cozy! The hot tub onsite was operational and ready to use. It was really nice that they had beach towels for the hot tub and separate bath towels for showering. Jim's cabin was exactly what we were looking for! A cute and rustic cabin where we could rest, relax and recharge for the weekend. We would definitely come back here!

We have stayed here a few times now, always for a little winter getaway. Such a great little place to relax. Put the phones away, bring out the card and the puzzles and kill the time. Awesome supper club that’s close (Jake’s). Becky is always quick to answer questions and flexible with check in/out when possible.

We travel A LOT and this sweet little spot was perfect for our little fam. We bring our 12 month old with us and this place made it very accommodating. All of the amenities were amazing and the small touches of baby toys, blankets, and shower stuff really exceeded my expectations. We would stay here again if we come back!

It is a nice place to stay and to get away from big cities. It is cozy and comfortable, making you feel right at home. There is plenty to do in the house, outdoors, and in the game room. Would definitely come again.

Can’t beat a beautiful cozy cabin right by the river! Nice to see the stars and hear the water when I stepped outside. Loved the large windows in the primary bedroom. Definitely recommend for a weekend outside the twin cities

Absolutely loved this stay! We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and the sauna on these cool days. Unfortunately, the door at this adorable cabin locked but could be pulled open while still locked.

Second time staying here and it was just as good as last year. Great cabin with plenty to do in the city or enjoy the lake. Will be returning again next year!

We always look forward to and enjoy our time at the Blue Cabin! It’s just perfect for our winter getaway. So clean, peaceful, has everything we need, and is on beautiful property. Laurie and David are perfect hosts! We hope to return again next February for our 4th annual visit!!

If you are looking for a bit of magic on the lakefront this is the location for you! Our family enjoyed a long weekend away at The Owl’s Nest with our dogs and we had a wonderful time! Jami and Jay were amazing hosts! So welcoming and answered any questions we had right away. There was a handwritten note welcoming us upon our arrival. The home is cozy, comfortable and super clean! We loved the wood stove in the living room for the crisp Fall nights while listening to music. The screened in porch was perfect for enjoying a hot mug of coffee and watching the sunrise while listening to the calls of Bald Eagles and Loons. The basement was perfect for watching a movie, playing darts or reading a book in the comfy leather sofa. We enjoyed the canoe and kayak on our last day there. The sand beach was perfect for our dogs to explore and rest in the sunshine. Thank you for an awesome experience at your beautiful property! We will definitely be back!!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was cozy and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved the sauna and the record player. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Very nice place, close to many restaurants. We did some 4wheel and Canoeing. Was a bit tricky getting it down and up the long hill to the lake. Calm river, peaceful. We come to this area a lot. It’s a lot of fun.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. This place is beautiful and exactly what we were needing for our anniversary weekend getaway. So relaxing, had coffee on the porch in the morning, watched the geese by the lake, so peaceful. The linens were wonderful, very well stocked with great items. The temperature in the lower level was a bit cool and the instruction in the manual on how to adjust was confusing (we couldn't find a thermostat anywhere). I sent a text to Steven---I felt bad because it was almost 10pm---he was there within minutes almost and changed the temp for us (adjusted from the upstairs unit) and then stopped to check in to see how things were and to let us know he adjusted it for us. Super nice guy. We'll definitely be back if we need somewhere to stay in the area.

My partner and I stayed for a weekend, and it was the perfect getaway from the twin cities. You instantly feel connected to the space as soon as you cross the Torii gate at the entrance. Cozy, intentional, and healing energy inhabits the cabin and the land surrounding it. The sauna was perfect, and I can imagine that in spring + summer months access to the river would be an amazing experience. By design the cabin itsself is environmentally friendly, a fitting gift to the land it sits on. Doug was a great host, and I look forward to returning.

We recently stayed at Matt's cabin and it was the perfect getaway. The house was spotless, well maintained and comfortable. We normally pack bedding, towels and all the "cabin box essentials" which were all provided by Matt which is great to know for the next time! The yard is flat leading to your own private dock. There is also a pontoon boat there if you wanted to rent that. The weather was perfect, the leaves just starting to change, and the fishing was great! We will be back.

Has a great stay at this adorable Webster cabin. Great location, great house, pictures don’t do it justice! Could use an instruction sheet on how to use the fireplace - we knew how but could imagine some may not. But the host was quick to respond when I had a question about the outdoor string lights. Would totally come back!

Due to an injury, we had to stay a second night here and our host was very accommodating throughout the process. The sauna is PRISTINE. I am a Finlander and grew up with a true sauna house build by my great-grandfather…this was a lot like our homeland property, and made our stay comfortable. We are also a LONG line of musicians and came into town for my father’s show at the Casino. We woke Saturday to him playing the drums! It was such a beautiful touch to a well furnished cabin, which is more like a massive home. Thank you, Pavel. We appreciate your flexibility as we navigated chaos. We would absolutely stay again - the space is extremely large and would fit our large family four times over.
