What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

A great place to stay, it is in a very quiet area that has a square nearby. It is also close to the main avenue to take transportation and get to downtown.

Gabriela's apartment is luxurious, the rooms are very nice, the bathroom is very clean, the living room and kitchen were excellent. I could rest as if I were at home even better pity than due to technical issues I could not arrive earlier to enjoy the place better, but it is very close to Oaxaca downtown to be able to enjoy the place. I give it 10000 stars.
