Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a Historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. The renovation was completed in March and provides stunning accomodation. Follow us on instagram at thesteading.millhouse. In response to Government guidelines we have adopted a deep clean regime. We are incredibly remote with a sparse community.
“Jeremy and Clare were fantastic hosts. Very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The steading itself was sparkling clean and in the most peaceful and beautiful setting. Could not have asked for more. Thank you again, we will be back again soon.”
Golf View is directly opposite Tobermory Golf Club, a challenging course with beautiful views, it is suitable for all year round golf as we usually have mild Winters, the green fees are £20 per day or £80 per week available at the club house opposite, It is a 5 minute walk down to Tobermory Main street shops, restaurant's and harbour.
“If you want to stay in Tobermory then you need to look no further. Doris has a wonderful little place, warm, cosy and clean, the bed is extremely comfortable too. To walk down to Tobermory is approx six minutes via the woods and onto a coastal path, this is a great walk, either in the sun , rain, daylight or evening, just remember your torch. Doris was on hand but also respected your privacy. We throughly enjoyed our stay thank you Doris.”
Near Skye and easy for Loch Ness, Oban, Inverness and Fort William. This lovely old Highland cottage is perfect for couples, Highland explorers, and families. Stay for a few days. There's lots to do: cycling, swimming, kayaking, wildlife watching, whisky tasting, listening to live local music... or just doing nothing! For colder months, there is also a cosy log burning stove.
“Highly recommend staying at Jo’s cottage. It’s beautifully renovated inside. Very cosy and the heating easily flexible . . It’s absolutely perfect as a base to explore from or to relax and warm up after a day out in the wilds of Scotland . The kitchen is very stocked allowing you to cook a wide variety of things easily. Tumble dryer, two lounge areas (both with open fires) and well spaced out sleeping areas. Peace and quiet but only a stones throw from Arisaig or slightly further afield to Fort William and Ben Nevis resort etc. Hope to stay again in the future!”
