Vacation rentals with lake access in Arona

Monica was the best host I've met. The communicaton with her was very easy, her response time is super quick. The instructions to go in to home is very clear and she is supporting the instructions with videos. Her place is exactly as it seems on the photos and maybe even more beautiful. The view from the balcony and the terrace is mesmerizing. Neighbourhood was very calm and quiet but it might be because it was off season when I stayed there. Although the neighbourhood is calm, the markets and closest shopping centers are only within 15 minutes driving distance. House is also very close to the Villa Balbianello. The house was very clean, Monica left everything we need in the fridge and kitchen. Lastly she helped us a lot during our stay with her recommendations for restaurants, shops, facilities around the region.

Beautiful house with beautiful views. Great outdoor areas and well equipped kitchen. We saw Leeds United seal promotion here so will always remember it !! Look forward to returning.

We've been there for an Easter holiday with our parents, and it was amazing. Paul & Silvia are wonderful, communicative and friendly hosts, their place was great and we have had unforgettable time - beautiful places around Locarno in the first part of the day, and chilling out with picturesque views in the afternoons. Because of multitude of things to see in the area, I recommend visiting by car if only to have freedom of where to go. Also, the town of Agarone has nice walkable paths that we've discovered only too late (these do not show up on Google Maps). All in all, we were very happy with our holiday and would strongly recommend Paul & Silvia as hosts.

We had a fantastic stay at Simona's place. Everything was spotless, Simona was there when we arrived and ran us through the house. There's a few stairs, and kitchen and laundry were on the lower storey (of 4) but that worked well as we spent most of our time on the lawn and swimming in the lake. The beds were very comfortable, and there was some road noise but nothing too bad at night. The front door opens directly on to the road - but that was no problem. We walked up to Lenno each day, had a great morning at Villa Balbianello and shopped at the Dino Mart for great pasta, cheese, veg and meats. My advice is to do less travel on the very packed and slow ferries/busses - and spend more time lounging on the lawn and swimming in the lake... there's swans, ducks, turtles, fish, herons in the water and with Isola Comancina in front the water is very calm - and perfectly glassy in the mornings and evenings. We had a ball. Thanks Simona!

Bobby’s place is in a unique, gorgeous location with a great view. Our family really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was very well equipped and Bobby clearly made an effort to make us feel welcome.

We had a great stay here. Emi got in touch a few days ahead of our stay to provide relevant details re check in and was waiting for us when we arrived. The property views - stunning. Also private access to the lake which was a bonus *and our dog loved it. Super peaceful location - great spot to explore Como from.

All communication before, under and after the stay with Matteo were very accommendating and helpful - we felt helped all the way, also with travels schedules to and from the appartment. At arrivel Matteos friend Roby met us a the pier - a very warm person who made absolutely sure that we felt welcome, and gave us a quick tour of the village. The appartement itself were located just on the water, and to me the location has some of the best views of the lake. The village is very quiet, we slept with the doors open every night and felt asleep to the sound of the lake. If you look for relaxation and tranquility this is the place. We ejoyed the greenway that lead you to Lenno and Tremezzo. It is a 30 minutes walk to Lenno with splendid views, where you can buy your groceries. We would be keen to return next week if we could. We would like to thank Matteo and Roby for being so helpful and keeping the house and appartment as charming as it is.

Our stay (4 adults and one toddler) was great. The apartment is beautifully located, with a great view of the Lago. Even in bad weather, you don't feel restricted and have enough space in the apartment. Furnishings were great, even for the little one there was nothing missing :)

The apartment is in a super charming, old building right in the middle of the old town of Como. It was a perfect location for getting everywhere, taking a stroll, getting a gelato, etc. We enjoyed our night there and slept well!

We enjoyed our stay at Judith's place immensely. The apartment was true to the photos, very clean and adorned with beautiful artwork. Judith was an exceptional host, very responsive and strong proposal about nearby restaurants and pastries. She also booked the restaurant for us. I can only recommend this address, especially since on this side of the lake we enjoy the setting sun 🤩

This property is in a stunning location. Everywhere you look is beautiful. The house is basic but is comfortable and has an amazing and secure outside space. I took dogs with me and it is just perfect for them. The village is very traditional and quaint and if you like walking this is the place for you. The walks are amazing, the views spectacular and always a new pathway to follow. Waking up in the morning and opening the door to the view of the mountains and lakes, sitting on the balcony with a coffee is a treat every day. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

The apartment is new and well renovated and offers everything you need. The lakefront view is beautiful and offers moments of relaxation and contact with nature. The town of Orta is just a few minutes' drive away and is a nice village for a walk, eat an ice cream or have a great lunch or dinner. My guys and I had a great time. I recommend it.

The place on the beautiful property was very great. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The apartment is equipped with the basics and is really very full of decor and furniture. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and discreet. All in all a great place to stay on an amazing property!
