Monthly Rentals in Arthur River

Great little out of the way place. Very comfy beach shack with everything you need to kick back and soak up the fresh air. Cooked at home one night, and ducked into Marrawah Inn the next. Spectacular surroundings - and indigenous history if you know where to look. Can’t wait to head back to the edge of the world again!

Three couples and one single stayed at the Stone House for 3 nights. With the slow combustion wood heater and plenty of wood the house was very cosy. We each had delightful bedrooms, sufficient privacy, good laundry, great family area and well-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom in the adjacent 2 bedroom bungalow was quite adequate for wheelchair use, which we required. The power went out one night due to weather conditions and there were candles, matches etc to make life easy. Frances kept us quite well informed with local knowledge. The nearby Marrawah Inn has great meals.

If you are working on your Tassie itinerary, don’t be fooled by the size of the Arthur River hamlet, for nature lovers and beach combers it’s a superb destination . The property has a prime position with a spectacular outlook. The icing on the cake is that a variety of wildlife including wombats passes right outside the door. My only regret is I booked for 3 nights, I should have booked 6 nights and really wound down.

Great little retro vintage shack, cosy, homey clean & tidy and Tim was great with communicating and answering any questions, as well as checking in. Extra bonus that we could have our beloved furry family with us who loved the outside space.
