"Satake Residence" is a small tower-like house built on a corner lot of only 10 tsubo in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. The design was done by architect Kohei Kudo. Kudo gained experience under the world-renowned architectural unit SANAA before going independent in 2017. He is a young architect who is currently working on many projects, including homes and accommodations. Completed in 2021, the Satake Residence won the 2023 Residential Architecture Award and has been featured in various media outlets. It was originally the home of the owner, Satake, but it has now been reborn as a private lodging. You can try staying in an architect's custom home, or you can stay as a base for sightseeing in Tokyo.
