Beachfront vacation rentals in Athens

We had such a wonderful time at Maria and Micheal’s place and would definitely come back. The apartment is located about 45 minutes from Athens and is on the port of Rafina. Rafina itself is a lovely sea town with great food and great people and great access to the beach. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and clean. We spent 6 days there and had a great time exploring Athens and the Greek Riviera. Parking was never an issue. We even made organic lemonade from a tree growing in the back. It’s perfectly located next to a grocery store and several fast food restaurants. The local square is FULL of authentic Greek restaurants. We had no issues and the hosts were perfectly lovely and very responsive. Even though we visited during the off-season, there was plenty to do and the house was ready for guests. 10/10 would recommend to anyone traveling to the region.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, l’appartement était vraiment nickel ! La vue est vraiment magnifique, nous avions le tram juste en face donc c’était vraiment pratique pour les déplacements. Nous étions avec nos 4 enfants et l’espace pour les enfants était super ! L’hôte était très réactif à nos demandes , il répondant très rapidement, c’était vraiment chouette 🥳 on se réjouit de revenir ! 🥰

Perfect getaway and a brilliant host

I have stayed here before a few years ago and on both occasions had the best time. We use Tim's home to visit family who live nearby and it's a fantastic home from home for the 10-14 days we visit. Tom is always checking in and is on hand to answer messages quickly. Thank you for having me again Tim. Always a pleasure staying in your beautiful home and I've finally managed to get my grandparents to change their beach preference ! Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Vasiliki was very kind and responded to our questions. The flat was cozy and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The area for us was the best to sleep in at fr on all Athens, the see view was gorgeous and for us who came to compete near by, it was a gem. Very recommended!!

Wir waren über Weihnachten in der Unterkunft. Zoe hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und die Wohnung weihnachtlich geschmückt. Auch sonst hat er auf alle Anfragen reagiert und geholfen. Es ist eine tolle Wohnung mit genügend Platz, kurzem Weg zum Meer und dem kleinen Ort mit Geschäften und Restaurants. Zum Flughafen sind es entspannte 20 Minuten und bis zu einer günstig gelegenen Metro Station (Nomismatokopio) nach Athen sind es ca 40 Minuten. Ich könnte es mir auch gut für den Sommer vorstellen.

We had the most amazing stay at this stunning villa in April! The property is absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous views that made every moment special. It was the perfect setting for our relaxing getaway with friends. Maria and Dimitrios were exceptional hosts - so welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly responsive to all our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and their warmth made us feel right at home. The villa itself was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail in the design and amenities added an extra touch of luxury. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to return someday. Prijatan i prostran smeštaj koji je idealan za odmor. U veoma mirnom delu grada. Plaža je veoma blizu kao i crkva. Ovo je moje prvo iskustvo u Grčkoj i prezadovoljna sam!

We had the most wonderful time. The villa is so beautiful and spacious. We had all we needed to cook and have a bbq. Lovely fresh linen and towels. The pool was lovely and private. Hammock was a great bonus. Views were beautiful and very easy to find from the airport. Thank you so much Gina

From the communication before the check in to the check out the availability was very good. We have received an introduction to the apartment and good information about what can be done nearby. The apartment has a private street and parking area. The beach is nearby and can easily be reached on foot. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday with children. All electronic devices have been clean and worked perfectly. We would definitely come back next time we are in Porto Rafti. Thanks a lot!

Many thanks to Tasos, he was not just a host but also a super guide. We stay a week in couple and the appartement/studio was perfect and fully equiped (from the toaster to the coffee machine and the menus and map of all the restaurants and shops around etc…). The garden is also very well equiped : swimming pool, sunbeds, fruit trees, plancha, games, parking place… we spend a super trip. Thanks again Tasos, we wish you the best !

Excellent logement, nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Le logement est superbe, tout est facilement accessible à pied ou en taxi (super facile avec une application Uber), les aménagements sont parfaits, le logement est très propre et parfaitement agencé, super complet, les plages sont accessibles en quelques minutes, le cadre est idyllique, les hôtes au top. Nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux. Fantastique ! La description sur l’annonce est moins complète/belle que la réalité, c’était vraiment parfait.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sofia. La vie de l’appartement est juste magnifique ! De belles plages à proximité ainsi que de nombreux restaurants pour profiter de Porto Rafti et se reposer.. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Pros: Beautiful house, lovely hosts, idyllic area. Easy access to all riviera, and Athens city. Generous sized bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. The juice press and freshly picked oranges left for us. Feels authentically Greek, not like hotel. Plenty of extra towels, sheets, blankest. Hosts would bring us whatever we needed. Cons: Have to walk on narrow sidewalk along main road 1 min to access house. The road is noisy in living room and front porch, bedrooms are in the back are more sheltered. The road is 6 lanes, and the beach is on the other side, so it takes some time going across and it can feel a bit daunting for some. Bit of a walk to nearest safe crossing. For us, the pros outweighs the cons. Bring earplugs to cancel the noise from the road and you'll be fine.

Jon is a wonderful host. He was very responsive and helpful, even offering to take us to his kid's doctor when our toddler was not feeling well. Everything in the flat is as described. It's very quiet and peaceful and close to the sea with many playgrounds nearby for the kids. There are also a few cafes, restaurants and stores all within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need including a full kitchen. We found everything very clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back

Ideal Lage, gute Restaurants und das Meer gleich in der Umgebung. Late Check in wurde gegen Aufpreis organisiert 😊 Flughafentransfer wurde organisiert 😊 Idealer Ort um eine Rundreise zu starten oder zu beenden, da nur 10-15 Min vom Flughafen.

Our stay at the apartment in Palio Faliro was wonderful. We were greeted at the airport by a taxi set up by our host. Our driver picked us up from the Athens airport very late at night and brought us to the apartment. There we were greeted by the owners assistant who showed us around. She was very sweet, courteous and informative. We loved the nice large size of the apartment. The comfortable beds and spacious kitchen for preparing meals. The patio is a lovely addition to the apartment. It extends the length of the apartment and can be entered from the kitchen, living room and bedroom. The apartment offered all you need for an excellent stay in Palio Faliro. We would definitely rent this apartment again when returning to the area.

A very beautiful property, great for those who want to be in the beach.

Dora was very easy to deal with, very friendly, responsive and welcoming. We were provided with fruit, OJ, water, coffee, bread, butter, honey and wine. All the rooms were very clean. There are two sleeping rooms and one bathroom. The apartment looks newly refurbished. Amenities are excellent. There is a well functioning aircon across the apartment. Across the street, you’ll find a public beach. Within a few minutes’ walking distance, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops. If you have a car, you can find parking outside the building. Otherwise, the tram station is nearby and you have easy access to taxis via Freenow. The only little caveat was the noise at night from the main street right behind the apartment. Albeit the apartment is well isolated, some night owls use the street as their race track.

Lovely, comfortable apartment! The washer came in handy. Beautifully decorated. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. The apartment is on a very busy road. Quiets down a bit at night. I used ear plugs and had no issues. We walked around to the larger marina and had a lovely lunch at Barong with the fancy yachts. Nice spot! We went to the Polis Hammam and it was amazing. If you've never done that give it a try. If we come to Pireas, again we would definitely stay here.
