“Ennio is the host par excellence, in our whole life we have never met such a good, kind and helpful person like him. He explained everything to see both during our stay with him and for our future travels. He advised us where to eat and how to move better. She is an attentive and extremely hospitable caring person. The chats with him at breakfast, which he prepared us every day with his own hands, asking us about our preferences and making them find us ready at the desired time were wonderful, we would not have wanted to travel around the city to still chat with him. Needless to say, his wonderful home lacks nothing, has an impeccable cleanliness and is of a unique beauty. He also provided us with two bicycles to run Syracuse and Ortigia via the bike path that passes very close to his home, where you can also stop on terraces overlooking the sea to swim. Furthermore, on our arrival he even let us find a bottle of frappato wine, which unfortunately we didn't drink because in the evening we got too tired. Ennio will be difficult to find other hosts like you. When we return to Syracuse or surroundings, you will be our number one preference! When you want to come to Genoa, besides being our guest, we'll let you taste our pesto! See you soon. A hug, Matteo and Stefania”

“Francesco and Giulia are very nice, always responded quickly ! They gave us very useful information about the house and the city. Thanks so much !! The house is just next to the beach, has very beautiful view. 3 small rooms, very suitable for a family or few friends to stay. The house is very clean, and got almost everything you need. And enough place to park! Don’t worry about this ! Anyway, highly recommend to everyone who wanna have good time to explore Sicilia. And again thanks so much for Francesco and Giulia’s help !”

“The villa in Augusta was a relaxing oasis near the coast. The property itself was modern, sleek, well appointed with a clean, coastal decor. The finishings of the house itself were really well thought out and high quality including the doors and fixtures. The house felt really bright with natural light and plenty of space. The outdoor area was even better with olive trees and cactus and a private pool overlooking the sea. The best time to spend outdoors was early morning to early afternoon, at least while we were there in September; there are a lot of mosquitos so we weren't able to keep all the windows and sliding doors open. The view off one of the bedrooms upstairs with a big balcony was breathtaking with views of the sea. Things to keep in mind: The property was super quiet at night, the kitchen was ample for cooking meals, the gated property felt safe and private, and the shower water pressure was good. Minor things to consider which aren't negative, just to keep in mind. It can get pretty hot during the day so the bedrooms may get stuffy, but the air conditioning units do a decent job. It will never get freezing cold like back in the states; but it's all expected when vacationing on an island near the sea in the summer. The house itself is not within walking distance to anything notable, but we planned on this and had a rental car for the stay so we could drive to various cities. The house is beautiful but located in a bit of an industrial area so you won't be taking a stroll to a bistro or cafe for coffee. You definitely need a car here and the streets are narrow and unpaved and Google maps works way better than Apple. Even the car's navigation had a little trouble finding the property but we were able to figure quickly figure it out. The drive to Agrigento's Valley of the Temples was 2 hours away, the city of Catania is about 50 minutes away and the Catania airport was about 40 minutes away. There is a decent sized grocery store about a 5 minute drive away called Deco where you can get the essentials like bottled water, produce, milk, pasta, and household supplies and it even has a little gelato stand inside. It was just myself and husband during this visit, but the house is big enough for a family with 3 bedrooms. The host Luciano was really pleasant, accommodating and easy to communicate with. He met us at his house to give us a quick tour and gave us tips and advice for enjoying the area. I would definitely stay here again.”
