Cabin vacation rentals in Austria

We arrived as a family of four. Arriving at the Knusperhäuschen, we were surprised by the wonderful view, the really very nice and lovingly furnished house and the horses. We felt very comfortable at all times and can absolutely recommend this place. Many thanks to Manuela. We will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice time in the cottage. The two children enjoyed the animals & the many play opportunities on the outdoor area. It was all very clean and well maintained and even more beautiful than in the pictures. Thanks to the sauna and hot tub, we were able to relax well and the view was fantastic on all sides!

We had some very quiet and relaxing days. The apartment brings everything you need to relax from the city. Restaurants and sugar market nearby, everything is great. I'll be happy to come back!

We just spent a few super nice days at Faunus Hof. There were seven of us there, for my mother's birthday, and all generations liked it :) You have the big house to yourselves, there is enough space for retreats, but of course you can also sit together comfortably in the kitchen or in the living room. The tiled stove makes everything very homely. We also made use of the sauna and hot tub, so wellness feeling included! The dogs and cats that stop by every now and then were perfect for us, grandma and kids enjoyed the petting units :) At Teresa and Michael's we felt very welcome, they were always available and the local tips for wine taverns, walks etc. were of course very helpful. Unfortunately, not everything worked out... yoga, swimming in the pond... i.e. we have to come back!

We had two really great days at the cabin! There is everything you need and we immediately felt super comfortable. René personally checked us in and gave us recommendations. The area around it is just perfect for walking and unwinding. :) Our stay was completely relaxed – we will definitely be happy to come back!

The cabin was super clean and very well equipped. If you want to enjoy the peace and quiet, this is the place to be. The two cats and the dog greeted us every day 😃

We were a group of four at the alpine hut for a week and loved its location and amenities! Everything worked as described by Hansi & Elke, their compiled information about the hut and activities in the surrounding area were perfect, both were always immediately available for inquiries and extremely friendly. A special highlight was the south-facing terrace with its incredible panoramic views. The cottage was equipped with all the things you need and fully corresponded to the description and photos. We can only recommend the stay in the authentic and very cozy accommodation and wish Hansi & Elke all the best!

Peter and his family are very nice and warm, I immediately felt comfortable. The cabin is as described, small, quaint, cozy, in the middle of nature and with fantastic views. I really enjoyed my stay here and can fully recommend the cabin as well as hosts.

We spent a few nice days in Monika's cabin as a family with 3 children. The cabin is super cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, firewood is more than sufficiently available. It is quiet and there are numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. The view is fantastic. If you don't want to cook for yourself, there is Gasthaus Tauernwirt in the next village (3 minutes by car). Highly recommend. The nearest larger town Trieben is 15 minutes drive (bakery, super, etc.). We can highly recommend the cabin!

We spent 3 nights there with a dog and enjoyed it very much! Always happy to come back!

we loved our stay in this charming little wooden chalet! The accommodation was spotless, very clean and with everything we needed to feel good and cook. We were able to have our breakfasts every day in the sun on the terrace what happiness! The accommodation is also very well located for exploring the surroundings, whether tonight for hiking, kayaking or rafting or just strolling around beautiful lakes! a wonderful place to stay, we loved Sophia's cabin and the campsite. The cabin was comfortable and contained everything we needed. it's an ideal place to stay with children, conformable beds and well provisioned kitchen. The area is beautiful. The campsite has a lovely swimming pool, amazing playground, fantastic restaurants. We hope to be back again soon! Thank you for all your useful communication and videos to explain how everything worked and useful tips about the local area!

We had a fantastic stay at Daniela's and her family's place.... The cottage is located approx. 10-15 minutes' walk from the farm, but can also be reached by car, however snow chains are recommended in winter. We were traveling with our 3-year-old son who loved the stay. The cottage is lovingly decorated, everything is available for self-catering. The living room is heated with an oven, which gave us great pleasure. The area is worthwhile for excursions of all kinds, tobogganing, ice skating, etc. Good restaurants are also nearby (10-15 min. drive). The stables of the farm were freely accessible, there is fresh milk and very trusting cats. A special thank you goes to Grandpa Friedel, who also took great care of us. Finally, a hot bath under the clear starry sky was really great. We will be back :-)

We had a fantastic stay with our two children aged 6 and 8. Kati and Martin do that great, we felt completely at home there. At the cottage, there are many toys for the children, the swimming pool in the village is within walking distance, really a plus. Communication was also very smooth with Martin. In the area there are so many activities to do for the children, the walk to the waterfall Treffling was beautiful. The sauna with cold plunge pool at the cottage was also very nice. We can only recommend this stay!

Cozy cabin on the hill, equipped with everything you’d possibly need, absolutely recommended!

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin is cosy and well equiped, the location offers privacy, beautiful views and many hiking paths. Viktoria is super nice and a pro host. A great getaway from the city. Looking forward to coming back!

The cabin is incredibly cozy! It may seem a little bigger in the pictures, but it's so well equipped that we didn't miss anything. The highlight is clearly the fire pit, the oven and the hanging chair. The communication with Florian was perfect. All in all, I can recommend the cabin if you like a few days of peace and quiet 😊
