Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

Herzlich willkommen in unserem kleinen Paradies! Wir haben uns über die letzten Jahre ein kleine Oase erschaffen, in der es uns an nichts mehr gefehlt hat. Von Gästezimmer, über Sauna, Whirlpool, Glamping Dome, Pavillon und Outdoor Küche umfasst unser Garten alles was man für eine gemütliche Zeit braucht. Wir wohnen am Rande einer sehr kleinen Ortschaft, etwa 14 kilometer vom Bodensee entfernt. Der Garten ist umgeben von Natur und hier in der Region lassen sich viele schöne Dinge unternehmen.

The "Sonnenhäusle" is located in Sasbachwalden absolutely quietly in the middle of nature. Built in 1936 by Karl Fritz, father of the Bambi Prize. Completely renovated in 2024, newly furnished and expanded with a panoramic sauna and a balcony roof. The associated 10,000 m² forest and meadow property is located directly next to the "Black Forest National Park" - directly on mountain bike and hiking routes. In this relaxing altitude you have a wide view of the sea of lights of the Rhine Valley!

In the middle of the vineyards

In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

The original old wooden beam ceiling radiates rustic cosiness. The new bathroom with retro tiles also fits perfectly into the ambience. You are also welcome to use our sauna (for a small fee) or our cosy guest lounge. 1.Nov. - 15. one time Sauna is included!

Chalet on the edge of the field

A wonderful holiday chalet awaits you in an idyllic location on the outskirts of a residential and holiday area. The terrace offers excellent views of the entire Swabian Alb and Hohenzollern Castle. The chalet is ideal for families with children and couples seeking peace and relaxation. Starzach-Wachendorf, also called Swabian Tuscany, is located between the northern Black Forest and the Swabian Alb in the district of Tübingen.

Sauna, animals and nature in the "Lerchennest"

The "Lerchennest" is located separately on the upper floor of the rustic half-timbered house in 1890. The small village of Aach is only a 5-minute drive from the spa town of Freudenstadt and offers the ideal base to discover the Black Forest. But there is also a lot to explore around the Lerchennest: the natural garden, a fireplace for grilling, a sauna to relax, feed goats or hike together, cuddly hangovers and all kinds of more.
