Banana Pancakes had everything I needed while I was attending a course nearby. Really well equipped kitchen and an excellent shower. It was more private than I had anticipated, really tucked away at the end of the garden. Thank you!

Me and my wife had a lovely weekend. Claire was very helpful and greeted us on arrival. Would definitely recommend staying here as a lovely spot and vibe overall. 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and beautiful glamping pod. Couldn’t get better.

The Rookery was truly an amazing stay, we’ve travelled across Cornwall but the Rookery stood out for its vibe, location and the brilliant hosts . The rookery was immaculate and tastefully decorated, easy to find and the welcome hamper is the best we have come across. Pat and Sharon were amazing hosts- relaxed, friendly, welcoming. You can tell a lot of love has gone into the place. Sharon gave us a list of places to visit that formed the basis of our stay including Porthcurno, Cape Cornwall and some local beaches and restaurants, these made our trip so thank you. The venue is peaceful with the sound of bird songs yet close enough to some of the best sites in Cornwall. We will 100% be returning. It’s often easy to speak in superlatives in reviews and to talk about how hosts go ‘above and beyond’ but words do not do the rookery and Pat & Sharon justice- they have something really special. This is a gem of a place and Bev was a great host. I was on a meditation retreat whilst staying there, and the cabin was perfect: cosy, quiet, and with a lovely riverside walk just down the road. I think Bev puts a lot of love into this place and you feel it - thank you!
