House vacation rentals in Bardstown

This home was far and away the nicest home we’ve stayed in. Not only is it spacious, modern and clean, but it also has a lot of activities available that make it an ideal destination itself for a group of people to enjoy. Will definitely look for reasons to return.

Just spent a wonderful week at this location with our kids and grandkids! The house was so spacious and allowed for personal space, as well as space for all kinds of group activities. We look forward to coming back when the weather is warm and the pool is open!

Wonderful home to stay in. The children loved the game room and movie night in the “theater” 😃 Very convenient to shopping There is a pool and bbq patio which would be fun (in warmer weather ) Would definitely recommend!

This house was PERFECT! There was plenty to do or just relax and enjoy the property. It is very close to distilleries, wineries and restaurants. We hope to visit again sometime!

Absolutely perfect! I would say this AirBnb is one of the best that we’ve stayed at. Amazing views of the river. Kristen was very responsive and had everything we needed at the house. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and hot water! I definitely recommend Kristen’s house! I know I didn’t want to leave!

Cant beat the nice scene

It was perfect for our needs. Very clean and close to 3 distilleries. The kitchen is well stocked with pots pans bakewear etc, and clean. bedrooms and baths are clean and comfortable. The hot tub and pool were clean and ready for us with plenty of space outside to sit and relax. over all it was a great location and very well taken care of.

I can’t say enough. Such an interesting home in a perfect setting - convenient to everything. The hosts were super responsive. The house was well appointed. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay! We went for a girls trip and wanted something a little secluded but not too far from the city and the location was perfect. The house looked just like the photos and was very clean.

This was our second stay at Guest House on Story, and was definitely as good, if not better than the first. Kim is an excellent and responsive host who strives to make sure your stay is exactly what you need. We had a large group of adults visiting Louisville to celebrate a birthday weekend, and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The area has fun walkable bars, breweries, and cocktail lounges, along with restaurants! Highly recommend Tartan House and Biscuit Belly. Guests should be aware as others have mentioned that given the location in Butchertown, there is occasionally a notable smell outside. It very much depends on the direction of the wind and day/time of the week. Do know though that you cannot smell this inside the house! We caught a whiff outside here and there, but definitely not the entire time. Highly recommend Guest House on Story, and I'm sure we will stay again when in Louisville with a large group.

Our work trip to Louisville was made even better by this incredible home! It was the perfect spot for networking, with a stylish bar and living room area that made hosting colleagues effortless. Everyone who visited raved about how cool and inviting the space was. We attend a conference in Louisville every year, and we may have just found our new go-to stay! The host was fantastic—super responsive, friendly, and provided clear check-in and check-out instructions. The location is unbeatable, with Agave & Rye just a short walk away for a great dinner. Even in the colder months, this home was a fantastic find, but we can only imagine how amazing it would be in the summertime. If you’re looking for a place in Louisville that’s modern, spotless, and comfortable, this is it!

Love the studio and loft! Beautiful apartment with lots of space to spread out and modern and current amenities! Doesn’t have a closet for hanging so plan to keep things folded. It’s a bit tricky find the apartment the first time and the alley and garage are TIGHT so compact cars would be easiest the host also uses and accesses the apartment. Coury was very accommodating and responsive and did his best to make us feel at home and help us with our requests.

Ross is an amazing host. Among the best! He is very kind, proactive, and responsive in communication. The house is set up beautifully for guests. It's hard to describe, but just little things everywhere--signs for guests so they know what around the house and what they can use, a chalkboard for a shower schedule, games, book, work out equipment. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. It was like everywhere we turned we were like "hey, look at that." It was really warm and fun place to stay. Thanks Ross! Your hospitality made for a wonderful stay!

The house was really nice, great location. The only thing I had trouble with was the lock box.

This was our second time using this house. The location is convenient, and the house was easily accessible for my 93-year old mother, who enjoyed having her own master suite in addition to our second master suite. Thank you Ty!

Great location and great space! The pool table, the huge projector screen, and the game table kept us occupied and the beds were super comfy. The view of the outdoors was amazing. We were lucky to wake up to the first snowy day of the season and it was just gorgeous. I communicated with them a couple times throughout our stay and they were always very responsive and helpful.

Lynn was an amazing host and her home is absolutely beautiful! I would give her 10 stars if I could! She was so kind to offer my family a high chair and pack n play as well as awesome suggestions for playgrounds and activities! There was also a baby gate that easily folds when not in use! We had a small issue when we were there and she quickly rectified it! Our two families had plenty of room with 2 wonderful bedrooms on the first floor and full bath as well as 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs with full bath! The beds are super comfy! We were traveling with an 18 month old and his cries at night never disturbed us downstairs! There is a door at the top of the stairs that can be closed so it's like 2 apartments in the same house! We were also very conveniently located to all attractions and great shops nearby without noise from the highway. Very peaceful and safe neighborhood. I would definitely want to stay here again when I am in Louisville!!

Great location. Tiffany’s place was clean and comfortable. Nice appliances. Only recommendation would be a larger coffeemaker. Overall, we had a great stay!

Beautiful home and surroundings. We had everything there at the home that we needed. Peggy responded within minutes with any questions we might have had. It was very homey and relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location close to our family and events. Visited for a family event. Stayed with my husband and my one daughter’s family including our grand-baby. Comfortable accommodations in a quiet neighborhood. Went for a couple walks, one in a nearby park. Cooked breakfast at home daily. Highly recommend.

Thanks for the great experience Eric. The place was perfect. The tankless water heater was a big plus with 8 of us taking showers back to back. Never a lack of hot water. I don’t think people think about that fact when searching for a place to stay. It might be the biggest plus. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the kitchen was one of the best stocked with utensils and cookware we have ever experienced. Absolutely top notch. The only thing I would improve is to add a few more coffee cups but that’s hardly a big deal! Overall a 9.89 out of 10. Cause no one is perfect. lol. Thanks again.

In combined trips, my friends and I have stayed at something like 30 Airbnb's - this was, by FAR, the best experience we've had. A couple of glitches that were immediately addressed, home was clean and, well, home-like. It is a lovely space in an exceptional setting, and we were made to feel both very welcomed, and at-home during our stay.
