Situated in peaceful Tanjil Bren, just a 20 minute drive from Mt Baw Baw, this homely house is the perfect place to escape the daily grind and a great base to explore the region.
“The lodge was perfect for our two families, cosy, clean and in beautiful surroundings. We felt quite privileged to be enjoying the beautiful forest and alpine area, despite the the bushfire crisis in other parts of the state. Thanks Tracy for her flexibility around the date of arrival, as we assessed the possible risk of travel. We had a wonderful time at Jenny Lodge.”
Reindeer Lodge is an off the grid home, powered by a large solar system, set in the forest of Mt.BawBaw. People come to Reindeer Lodge seeking serenity amongst it's natural landscape. Enjoy a soundscape of birds, see a dazzling sky unhampered by light pollution, take long walks into the forest and relax with people you cherish around our fireplace. “Me and my partner had a very quiet and lovely getaway in William’s house. It’s a very charming and authentic wooden house. I have forgotten some of my items in the house and Jerry ( the caretaker) was kind enough to send to me with post immediately. I am very thankful of that.”
The idyllic forest hideaway 20 minutes from Mt Baw Baw Ski Village. Moose Head Lodge is one of a kind; off-grid, warm and comfortable, a little quirky and oh so peaceful.
“Perfect quiet weekend getaway. Although would have loved to stay a bit longer. Matt and Rachel know how to make your stay pleasant and easy with a well stocked kitchen in case you forget something and little notes to help with the fire and pizza oven. We loved putting out some seed to watch the gorgeous birds as we ate breakfast in the mornings. The bed was comfortable, we slept really well. Life slowed down and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were plenty of books, CDs and games to fill the time we'd usually fill with Tech. We will come back and most likely bring our kids.”
