We loved our stay in Newstead at Julie’s place. It was the perfect place for our family to stay whilst we were over visiting extended family. Plenty of space, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay at Emma’s place. Well set up home for a family group. We had a wedding in Bendigo and stayed with our adult children and partners. Short 1km walk into town centre, easy access to shops & cafes/restaurants. Easy check-in process and communication with Emma. Thank you

This place is an absolute gem. Stayed here with my partner and it was an extremely large space, but still felt cozy. Architecture is excitingly unique. The surrounding trees provide great privacy and atmosphere. The check-in and -out process was swift as Deborah is extremely responsive. The Castlemaine shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. Highly recommend.

Deb was an absolutely amazing host and communicated everything we needed to know wonderfully! The house was so wonderfully set up and cozy to relax in. We had the most amazing weekend and thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!

There was easy acces. All equipments were in good working condition. We appreciated the very effective air conditioning.

Beautiful renovated home. Even better in person! The photos don’t do this place justice. Savannah also was super flexible allowing us to check in earlier on short notice, which was super helpful as we were getting married the next day and a lot on our plates. 11/10!!

Such a lovely stay. Beautifully presented accommodation with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, and great kitchen. We felt very relaxed. Annie & Josef are so friendly and helpful. Lovely deck and relaxing surroundings

The location was great! Close to restaurants, cafes, galleries and Rosalind Park. Lots to do within walking distance! The apartment was very clean, and matched the photos. The photos don't do justice of the actual size of the apartment! Simon was also very responsive and helpful!

Mike and Adey were generous hosts. So many unexpected little bonuses like the jar of home made biscuits, good coffee and extra treats in the fridge. The cottage garden is straight out of a designer magazine. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A perfect quick getaway. The colour scheme is instantly calming and the entire apartment has been very tastefully put together. Very homely vibes with amazing art work, mementos of the Theatre and just a chilled atmosphere. Hearing the movie play next door was very cool - not too loud at all but reminded you of what a cool place you’re staying in. We will definitely stay again and absolutely recommend to everyone who says they are coming to Castlemaine.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, spotless, and well-maintained. Sally was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The only thing we wish we had known in advance was about the stairs, as we might have packed a little lighter. Parking was a bit tricky at first, but Sally was incredibly accommodating and helped us sort it out. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely recommend staying here!

Hepburn springs and surrounding area are generally expensive but this accommodation was very reasonably priced.Unfortunately most of Hepburn Springs is either up for sale or closed down but Daylesford is only 5 minutes away by car and theres plenty to see or do there.
