Enjoy 500 square feet of newly constructed luxury on a quiet street in the charming neighborhood of Bret Harte. The spacious bedroom has a king bed and private spa-like bathroom with heated floors. Through the double barn doors is a sitting room with two sofas that convert to single beds as well as a dining nook and kitchenette. A separate gated pathway leads to the private deck with space to relax or dine while listening to songbirds.

This completely private portion of our North Berkeley home is usually available only Fri, Sat, and Sun nights, except where otherwise indicated on the calendar. If you plan to leave on Monday, check out will need to be early (9:00am). We usually cannot be flexible on that as we use it for other purposes Mon-Fri most weeks. Our charming and quiet cottage, with its tropical garden, is less than a 10 minute walk to the North Berkeley BART Station (metro system), 3 minutes from Acme Bread and a 7 minute stroll to Headlands Brewery's Beer Garden. The indoor and covered outdoor living spaces are perfect for relaxing, fire up the BBQ, or pluck the strings of the acoustic guitar if you're so inclined.
