Mamaw's House in the woods! 3/2 with fireplace.

Staying here is like a visiting your Mamaw's house. It's simple, old fashioned decor is family friendly. The big front porch is a perfect place to sit with your coffee and watch the birds and butterflies, which are plentiful. Located adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest, we also have many deer and other critters in the woods behind the house. There are no visible neighbors, access is by a dirt road. Star gazing here is amazing! It's also only 30 minutes to either Crockett or Lufkin.

Exceptionally clean and has every thing you need for a short weekend or an extended stay. Eff has full size kitchen and washer and dryer. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This is a 1950’s home that has been completely renovated. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. This was my best friend’s childhood home and we bought it after her Mom died. The house sits on a little over an acre of land, a big beautiful oak tree provides lots of shade in the front.
