Family-friendly vacation rentals in Biltmore Forest

We had such a wonderful time and would 100% rebook with Elizabeth! the home was beautiful, and it is so rare to find a dog friendly location with a fenced in yard. Our dogs had such a great time as well, and everything was so comfortable and clean and relaxing!

The house was exactly as described. Comfortable, clean, and had a lot of amenities! The hot tub was incredible, we loved bbqing in the backyard. This is one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at!

We had a great stay at the cabin! After an active day in Asheville, the cabin was a short drive yet felt a world away from the vibrant city. The setting amidst the trees and the soothing sounds of the creek put one at ease. We loved the ambience of the Airstream, the soak in the hot tub, the fireplace on the porch, the amenities of the cabin, and the thoughtful design that went into the whole place. We hiked the lovely Warren Wilson Trails recommended in the handy house guide. The cabin and grounds were situated so that it felt very private, and our dog seemed to enjoy his stay as well. Highly recommended, and we would love to return some time!

"Modern cabin" is a modest description ... I would call this a mountain retreat! There were four of us (two couples), but the home would have easily accommodated eight. The design of the house was well thought out and roomy, and the decor was stylish and tasteful. It did not seem like a rental. The kitchen was fully equipped. Thick towels and a bubbly hot tub awaited our arrival, and the Saturday morning scones & hot chocolate were a delightful treat! Perfect spot for a remote get-away, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Ashville and many other attractions. We could not have been happier with this "cabin"!

My family of four adults and our three dogs had a wonderful new year’s holiday at Rich’s house. I have never stayed at a cleaner or better stocked Airbnb. They truly thought of everything we could think of and more. We especially enjoyed watching the herd of deer that came through the field at the front of the house every afternoon

A perfect base camp for all your Brevard and Pisgah adventures. The unit is spacious, very clean, and has everything you need, including a well-equipped full kitchen. The property sits right on a bike path that leads about 3 miles to the start of the trails in Pisgah. Main Street, along with its shops and restaurants, is also just about a mile away and easily accessible via the bike trail. I've stayed in the unit twice and would definitely return.

Smithson was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was very clean and felt like home and relaxing. I highly recommend the cottage for a wonderful visit in Asheville NC. We will definitely be back!!!

It was amazing being right at the AT as well as walkable to Artisun cafe and easily accessible to downtown. We squeezed in 7 people and were just fine for the weekend. It just takes a little food planning with a small fridge and no stove, but between the grill, instant pot, and toaster oven we were just fine. It was a very sweet little space to spend our weekend!

The cottage was perfect and peaceful. Easy walk to several restaurants. Wonderful back yard and very cozy.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Red Dog Barn. The barn was just perfect for our size family (2 adults and 2 kids). Since the weather was a little rainy while there, we spent time playing billiards and on the arcade machine, especially in the evenings. Our kids loved seeing and feeding the animals on the property. Cheryl and her husband were gracious hosts. We elected to have the kids do the morning animal feeding run, which they loved. Seeing the Bison up close and learning about their history there is quite a treat. We look forward to the opportunity to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! A very short easy drive to downtown. A great home base for exploring Asheville.

We stayed almost a whole month and truly felt at home. Loved every single thing about this little cottage on an orchard. Pat is a superstar host in my book. Always responsive and helpful in any way. We loved the location it's the perfect mix of feeling isolated but really only 5 minutes to the grocery store. Everything you need for an extended stay is right here. We'll be back!

Everything was beyond my expectations, so comfy, cleaned, cozy, you have everything you need to not have the need to go anywhere! I’d be booking this property again! And mostly important, NO MICE ISSUES AT ALL! Just keep trash bags inside the garage as instructed ! Thank you Tami!

Completely satisfied with the place and the service, definitely a 10/10

Valerie’s place was exactly as described. We had everything we needed and lots of little extra’s that we didn’t expect. The kitchen and baths were a bit dated but everything was in great shape so it didn’t affect function at all. There isn’t enough seating in the living room for 8 but the dining room is connected so some of us sat at the table talking anyway while others watched TV, etc. The driveway is very steep and parking is limited to 2 vehicles but the resort has an area where you can park additional vehicles. My older FIL had some difficulty navigating up the driveway to the front door. We also had a 2 year old with us and the house was perfect for him. He could go on the screened porch and wander the house as there is a door to the stairway which I appreciated. The home is very comfortable overall for a family. My older children thoroughly enjoyed the game room in the basement. We would definitely book again if my FIL is not with us.

It's a nice getaway with a beautiful view. The unit was easy enough to find with easy access to the surrounding area. It was a clean and professional rental. We would stay here again. FYI: The steps to the units and path to the lake could be difficult for children and the elderly. We didn't have a problem with them. Just make sure steps and such aren't a problem for you before booking.

I cannot recommend this property enough! From the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by how clean and spacious the home was. Our stay at Josh’s place was fantastic! We arrived at 4am, and he made sure the lights were on and apartment was easily accessible for us. The apartment was clean, with a mini fridge and microwave. He was very responsive to any and all concerns. Josh was very accommodating and provided great local tips. We can’t wait to come back!
