“Cocklestop Inn is a hidden gem in Parottee, st. Elizabeth, Jamaica. This review is long, but our stay at this wonderful home deserves to be praised. CHECK-IN: Check-in was a breeze! The host communicated every step of the way. He had a staff member meet us at the property to give us the keys and show us around. The home was sparkling clean. HOME & AMENITIES: The home is very beautiful! It has two large bedrooms with 1 full bed each. The beds were comfortable. Jamaica is very hot so the air conditioner in each bedroom was wonderful. There are also a lot of storage in the bedrooms for all your clothes and shoes. In each room, there were bath robes, house shoes, bed sheets, and an ample supply of bath and face towels. The fully equipped bathroom has a large tile shower and hot water. I cannot emphasize how happy we were to have warm showers everyday. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped. There is also lots of storage and prep space. The host was kind to stock the kitchen with coffee, tea, water, and drinks. The property is well secured with 24 hour camera monitoring. There is private parking for 1 car. The wifi also worked excellent the entire time! The home is right on the beach so we went swimming and walking on the beach alot. The sunrise and sunsets there are breathtaking! There is a hammock in the yard that is perfect for relaxing. The host and his staff can arrange transportation to get you to all the tourists attractions for a fraction of the cost you would be charged at a hotel or through an agency. Overall, we had an amazing time and Highly recommend CockleStop Inn! We will definitely stay here again!”

“Robbi's Beach House truly is right on the beach--you walk out the door and take 10 steps and you're on the beach. The house is spacious, with a nice great room looking out at the ocean. We had plenty of space for our adult family of seven(3 couples and 1 single). There are two restaurant/bars a short walk down the beach (we liked LasVegas better than Cloggy's). Floyd's Pelican Bar is nearby, and you could probably get a boat to drop you off at the house--we took a boat from LasVegas bar. I would not recommend driving in Jamaica--get a driver. Alexandra recommended a driver for us, and we used him for airport transport(1.5-2hrs from Montego Bay) as well as three day trips. We did a Rasta experience and Rick's Cafe in Negril on one day (2hrs travel). We also did YS Falls and Appleton Rum Estate another day(½ hr travel). The third trip was to Treasure Beach (Jack Sprat restaurant is a favorite!). My only complaint is that the house is located right on a busy road, and the master bedroom faces the road--you will hear traffic, loud traffic, well into the night and early in the morning. In summary, Robbi's is a good place if you want an authentic Jamaican experience, away from the crowds of the resorts and cruise ships. Alexandra is great--she replied to our every request within minutes.”
