Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Blenio District

A paradise! The rustico of Renata sits on a green plain that looks like a treasure card designed by a child, with the river, big rocks, cheese shop, secluded fir trees, cows and pigs. The interior is perfectly kept, colorful, furnished on three floors, it is always cool there (we came in times of heat wave, lucky!), the terrace opens to the east and the forests, there are plenty of garden equipment in the shed and toys for children. And how quiet! Renata had installed a crib and high chair on her own, and responded to all our requests very quickly. As we came by bus (only 4 a day in summer on the road to the pass, stop 15 minutes walk), she offered to empty our waste herself. The Lucomagno trail passes through the plain and climbs in 10 minutes to the Pro Natura center (nice little restaurant and campsite!), and in 45 minutes to Alpe Casaccia, the most beautiful place where the river is the most beautiful. It should be noted that the house in which the accommodation is located also has 2 other apartments (not rented), so we had neighbors during the weekends, but it was not disturbing at all.

We, a family of five, had an amazing time at Goffredo’s place. His place is perfect, well-maintained, offers everything for a family and Goffredo even shared vegetables from his one garden with us. Perfect location, perfect host, highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay at the property after we were able to solve some small starting difficulties together with Victoria. The driveway was not easy for us to find and then no hot water ran at first. However, Victoria was very quick to respond to all our inquiries and was then able to send us help to start the hot water. It was beautiful and especially our toddler enjoyed the wide range of toys. A thousand thanks!

The cottage was even nicer than expected, nice and cool inside and lots of space and also outside lots of seating, especially the small covered room with bench and table was great and a fantastic view of the alpine panorama. It is best to shop in the valley, otherwise you have to drive about 20-25 minutes, of which a few kilometers of serpentines. If you are looking for peace, fresh air and lots of nature, you are in the right place. Within walking distance there is a mountain restaurant with chairlift (runs only on weekends) and many hiking trails and mountain bike trails. In the village of Leontica there is a delicious pizzeria.

Beautiful old but well renovated house in a quiet location near the bus station. Olivone is a good base for visiting the mountains.

We loved our stay in this cozy little house, with fabulous views over the valley from the terrace and the balcony. Domizia is a very kind, attentive and communicative host. We were not inconvenienced at all by the building site opposite which is described in the listing. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful valleys of Ticino and not far from Lago Maggiore and Milan. We would love to come and visit again!

The house is situated right next to the nature reserve and surrounded by forest. The stream next to the house provides a tranquil sound the whole day. Ideal for kids to run around the woods and as a start for hikes. The house has many bedrooms each with a great view and a nice fireplace for the evenings.

Milena was a great host – very friendly and helpful. The place was extremely clean, the kitchen perfectly equipped, the surroundings beautiful with great hiking opportunities. Ascona and Locarno are within easy reach. The flexibility at check-out was particularly pleasant. Absolutely recommended, we'll be happy to come back!

We were able to spend nice holidays despite the weather. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sun and the beautiful view on the quiet balcony for a long time. The apartment is practical and conveniently furnished. Communication with Markus was straightforward and friendly.

Fully satisfied! The house exceeded expectations! Very clean and well-kept with super-equipped and technological kitchen! We had a great time, even with 10 of us. Martin is very helpful and kind! The setting in which the house was located was enchanting, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls! Convenient for reaching Bellinzona, Lugano and S. I loved staying at Nadjas place. The location is right next to public transport and close to a grocery store. The kitchen is much bigger than shown and has everything you need. The view is out of this world and made my experience really special. Nadja is very responsive and friendly. I really enjoyed staying here- would recommend. :)

Renato is a great and uncomplicated host, he was always available for us and even if only a little thing was missing, he immediately got it for us! The house is on a steep hillside (14% incline), there is a small path to the village (stairs), about 15 min. It is about a 25-minute drive to the lake and the castles of Bellinzone are very close. Renato even got us the first little things for breakfast and welcomed us warmly! We really appreciated that everything was there to take care of yourself (also spices etc) and also our dog was very welcome. We would love to come back! Thank you for everything Renato!

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We have enjoyed our holidays!

Very nice house. Top location. Top view of the mountains. Magdalena was very responsive to requests. Lots of gardening around it. That's why sometimes lawn mower Noise. The road traffic further down can be heard in the morning. Nevertheless, it is then idyllically quiet in the evening and you have the evening seating area absolutely to yourselves. All in all a great house with wonderful excursions in the area
