We live in a 3 bedroomed bungalow on a quiet culdesac in Blofield Heath. We have ample parking space on our drive and Blofield Heath is just off the A47 and is a 15 minute drive to Norwich city centre, a 25minute drive to Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads are as easily accessible. We are ideally situated for exploring Norfolk.
“Easy parking, lovely place. It was clean with great facilities and really welcoming hosts. Great place to stay.”
Thyme Cottage is situated in the Norfolk village of Blofield Heath, central for the city of Norwich, the Norfolk Broads national park and the Norfolk coast. This 18th century cottage has all modern furnishings and fittings, a private south facing garden and ample adjacent parking.
“Lovely warm and cosy cottage with many extra thoughtful touches - eggs, bread, butter, milk, marmalade etc. The garden is perfect for people with children and/or dogs as it is safe and fully secure. We didn’t meet our hosts as there is a key safe but David made sure he kept in touch and made it clear we could contact him if necessary.”
The Buttery is a ground-floor room with en-suite shower room, suitable for singles or couples. You have your own entrance and you are entirely private. There's a TV, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, with provisions for breakfast, courtesy of your host. In the warm summer months, enjoy the secluded courtyard garden. If it's cold or wet, you'll find The Buttery is a warm and cosy haven from the weather!
“All the little touches were fantastic. I really enjoyed the homemade bread and wine! It was a great location for the wedding I was attending at Southwood Hall, and only 5 miles from Norwich. Great value for money, I would definitely stay again!”
