A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. It had everything you could possibly need. Lots of recommendations , which were useful for first comers like us . We will come back :)

Super comfortable cottage, well equipped and beautifully renovated. Stunning location, made even better due to the recent sunny spell. Walking distance to the village which has a good choice of places to eat. We didn’t use the car for the 4 days we were there as you can walk up The Old Man from the cottage and walk down to the Lakeside. Shona was responsive and provided helpful instructions. Overall a great stay.

Have stayed at a few air bnb's now, this one by far the best for many reasons - Great location: walking distance into town + to lake coniston, 20-30 min drive from many other towns, and only 1hr away from scafell pike - Lovely little home: super homely, bed is very comfy, big rooms, with lots of nice little touches Would happily recommend / return.

Thank you Joanna for a superb stay at Crag - it would be great to one day come back! Very peaceful and perfect recuperation for my fellow race! All very happy.
