Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bretteville

We wanted a large holiday home for our large family that was close to the beaches and we weren’t disappointed. The house was well equipped with plenty of facilities both inside and out; enough to keep three generations occupied…. The village of Trévières is nearby for everything you may need. (We loved the regular visits to the Boulangerie and the Boucherie/Charcuterie for supplies). Nearby, you have the D Day beaches and Port en Bessin for the many sea food restaurants etc etc.

We had a lovely stay at Thibault’s place. The home is just as represented in the description and photos. The beds are comfortable. The area around the home is peaceful and beautiful, which we loved especially after long days exploring the Normandie area. The only hiccup we had was the hot tub was too hot, which Thibault responded to and tried to resolve quickly. Unfortunately the following night when we went to use it, the power wasn’t on. I’m sure it would have been resolved but we checked out the next morning.

Excellent rental. Elaine always replied within a very short time and resolved all the queries or changes immediately. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, all the essential cooking basics (salt, pepper, sugar etc) were to hand. We visited end October and the children loved the hot tub. The location is great, close to beaches, shops and pubs. Excellent parking.

We were 8 including 4 children and had a great stay with a special mention for the wood burning stove, hot tub and environment/animals. Beautiful walks around by the sea too thank you!

We had a great weekend in a clean and very well-equipped house. Close to the beach on foot and shops by car. Lucie is very friendly and introduced the property to us very clearly via video in advance. Easy to turn on and very enjoyable hot tub. Easy and fast key exchange. Responses to messages in preparation for our quick check-in. Everything was great! Thank you for a great weekend!

We had a pleasant stay at Julie's place. Relaxation guaranteed thanks to the Nordic bath and sauna ( easy to use ). The place is perfect for two, nice bathroom and comfortable bedding. A little extra, the company of the rabbit and the chickens.

Very friendly hosts who welcome you very warmly on arrival. Maryline and her husband are very nice and know how to put you at ease and advise you on the surrounding activities. Thank you for your special touches (farm milk and homemade teurgoule). Beautiful and perfect accommodation, a charming setting to have a good time. I would recommend it in a second!

We had a great time. The house is great for coming together. In case of question the host is very responsive. Everything is available. Nothing to complain about.

I warmly thank our hosts who greeted us as soon as we arrived. Thank you also for loaning us such a nice place: clean, consistent with the photos and really nice, with a very nice little garden. A big thank you also for accepting our dogs, it's always a real comfort to be able to travel with them. The accommodation was also very well located to discover Cherbourg and the whole region. In short but quiet stay in Portbail sur Mer where we enjoyed the calm of the seaside cabin. The accommodation is well appointed, in the immediate vicinity of the beach with an equally pleasant terrace area. We recommend this place to those looking for a quiet and refreshing little corner.

Very beautiful accommodation, decorated tastefully. Very warm ,we immediately felt good there. The setting is quiet and green. We loved this cottage ,thanks to which we were able to visit a splendid area. The hosts are very discreet, but efficient.

We had a fantastic stay at Patrick's house. The pictures don't do it justice! It's beautiful inside & out and really well equipped. The pool is a huge bonus and we were so lucky to have such good weather so we used it everyday. I would highly recommend staying at Patrick's place .

Marie-Paule and Thierry are extremely welcoming ,friendly and friendly hosts. The house is a jewel and the view of the garden through the exceptional bay window. It didn't look very nice every day? no problem,given the size of the house and the activities on offer. Big despite leaving,and the pool has monopolized the kids a lot. Anyway, idyllic

Weekly stay with family in Saint-Lô in the charming (and spacious) house of Perrine and Jonathan. 100% turned on the garden and pool, the house is very functional and tastefully furnished (including the living room and the master bathroom) and the kitchen is very well equipped. Special mention for the multitude of games, books and other children's toys (both indoor and outdoor) that are more than delighted our 2.5 year old daughter! Finally, Perrine and Jonathan are attentive and responsive hosts that we take the opportunity to thank for the lovely little attention at the beginning of the stay.

We had an amazing stay at Regine and Eric’s idyllic property, they could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The property is bursting with character and has all necessary facilities. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Despite a little apprehension, 1st successful mobile home experience! The listing is identical to the description and is impeccably clean. The host was proactive and very accommodating, thank you to Mickael who managed the arrival on site, the activities offered on the camp are a real plus (educational farm, swimming pool, inflatable castle, children's animator). I would recommend it 100%.
