Vacation rentals with a patio in British Isles

Wonderful place to stay, beautiful house, perfect location in Hastings Old Town, eclectic furnishings, but with a modern fitted shower room (including full size shampoo, conditioner, shower wash and handwash) . Very comfortable bed, controllable heating, Freeview television + Netflix, kettle (plus tea and coffee), good sized fridge & a full size hair dryer. Glasses, crockery & cutlery available. On the ground floor, the communal areas include a fully functioning kitchen & dining room with everything you would need to prepare a meal, if you wanted a break from all the fabulous eateries available in the Old Town. There's a comfortable lounge area with comfy sofas & a games area with various games including a chess set and a piano. Dog bowls are dotted around inside and outside & we did spot a "tepee" dog bed! There's a large car park which is so rare in the Old Town. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't clement enough to enjoy the outside areas but, hopefully, on our next visit ,,,,,,

Really amazing stay! Had a beautiful view from the balcony and everything was very comfortable. The apartment is really close to all amenities which made it very easy to get around within 5-10 mins. Place was perfectly as described and very clean. Thanks Marc for the lovely stay

On arrival on a cold day we arrived to find the property lovely and warm, then saw the gorgeous view from the living room & bedroom windows. We felt very at home straight away, l. There is all you need at the property. The shower was great too. Even a little extra bright light to plug in at the dressing table. Tv was good with lots of choice. The kitchen was of a high standard, with all you could need. The bed was so comfortable too. We will definitely return here, its a great location as it is a short walk from the centre. It is dark at night returning, as you walk up a very slight incline but just pop your phone torch on and after a minute you are back at the property. You can walk up Quarry Brow to get to Lake Road if you need to take a short cut. Overall, highly recommended. Good communication with the host. Will definitely return.

Our family had a wonderful holiday in Lucy’s apartment. It was conveniently located to tons of public transport, great restaurants in Battersea and amazing Battersea Park. The flat was comfortable, well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Lucy herself was quick to respond to us and flexible with our check in and check out. Thanks, Lucy!

There were 4 of us that stayed in Shane’s place. It was the perfect size - two rooms and two bathrooms with a big living room and kitchen. The location is great - able to get to multiple tube stations and easy access from the airport. We also took runs from the house to the river and over to Hyde Park - super fun! Shane was also very nice and responsive leading up to the check in time! We will definitely book again when we come back to London.

Had a great stay at Gabrielle's place, perfect homebase, close to everything but away from the street noise, very peaceful and quiet for sleeping. Apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, good sofa and bed and kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few breakfasts and dinners. Gabrielle accommodated our early arrival from Donegal and was very helpful with recommendations for where to eat. As with others, took a few minutes to get in through the gate (no numbers on the button pad), but once in, you have the fob for using the elevator up and down to street level. Did a great day trip with the Eugene from Sligo Tours, the Benbulben and Yeats tour, which was a full day of history and wonderful scenery. Do check out the Abbey, which is less than 10 mins away on foot. Loved Sligo, the town and the county and enjoyed staying at Gabrielle's place, we highly recommend staying it as a homebase while in Sligo! Thanks Gabrielle.

Excellent place and neighborhood. It is definitely a home away from home. I am a long term guest and this is a place I will return to again next year. Thanks to Aza for being a wonderful host.

Had the good fortune to stay at Rich's place for a second time this week and as before just a great place, it has everything you need for your stay, nice and warm and comfortable and very clean and comes with driveway parking. Brilliant.

We loved Jo’s place! Cosy, quiet, calm, relaxing and with such a beautiful vibe. Beds are comfy with quality bed linen, kitchen well-equipped, bathroom clean and spacey, sofas in the living room dreamy with a book and cup of tea after a day out in Brighton. Jo made us feel so welcome, she even arranged a small Christmas tree (as we stayed over Christmas). Thank you so much.

This place made for a great base and was good value; we were on a budget and it met all our needs. Beds were comfy and it never felt crowded with 7 of us staying. We could always get enough hot water and bedding and towels were clean. We never heard any noise outside or through walls. Sandra was very helpful and responsive and it was a lovely touch to arrive to milk, biscuits, tea and coffee.

Thank you Maria and Graham for a lovely stay in your wonderful home. We had a fabulous holiday and the house was the perfect base for everyone. The setting was idyllic and house was spacious and had everything we could want. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub! We would recommend to anyone.

From the booking process to check out, it was a perfect stay. The photos of the apartment do not do justice to the spacious rooms and luxury decor. All the appliances needed for the ultimate self-catering stay. All of the comforts need to have a home away from home on our visit. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. I can't wait for the next opportunity to go back and re-charge the batteries.

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

Situated on the lovely Montpellier Crescent Alan's place is a perfect place to stay for visiting Brighton. Easy walk to the sea front and The Lanes. We loved the apartment which was exactly as described.

Had a fantastic stay in Pippa’s place with my family this weekend. Really good value for such a lovely place. Had the best weekend exploring the Devon coastline. Plenty of places to surf and eat. The place was clean, spacious and really well stocked. I usually carry a lot of ‘utilities’ with me when travelling but I didn’t need any of them in Pippa’s place. Was also really nice to be able to properly unpack as there is ample storage space. My children loved it too!

The place is fantastic, and Jason was so helpful. I highly recommend it!

A lovely penthouse apartment ideally situated just 2mins walk to the town centre for plenty of bars and restaurants. Responsive comms made things quick and easy and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Nottingham.

Overall a nice and clean appartement, had more or less everything you'd expect to need. Host was also proactive and friendly to communicate with. Would consider staying again when visiting the area.
