Our stay here was absolutely incredible. Elizabeth and Steve are the most exceptional hosts—warm, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a perfect experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble. A truly fantastic stay in a breathtaking location, hosted by the most wonderful people. Oh, and did I mention the great view? 🙂

had 4 lovely nights at this property. fantastic location meters from the mouth of the harbour and five minutes from a pebble beach. You can literally park your car up and walk everywhere. 10 / 15 mins into town . Great walks from the property. views from the front terrace Great. Ruth the host was lovely and was very informative . A true gem of a find.

We spent christmas at the beach house and had a wondeful stay, the beach house really is a home from home with every detail thought of, homely, comfortabe, great beach front location and a beautiful place to be... penny was great with cimmuncation and also decorated the beach house with christmas decs for us... we all wished ww could have stayed longer and qiuld definitely return would be lovely to stay in the summetime to take advantahe of the lighter nights and decking out back... thank you penny for a lovely break away ❤️

Great stay in this secluded bungalow, Short walk into town and only a 10 minute walk down to the beach. nicely kitted out and perfect for a short stay exploring Filey and surrounding areas.

This is our second visit to this lovely quiet bungalow but it is within easy reach of the town bars and restaurants. A lovely walk down the sea front. The view from the lounge window is picture perfect. We were thrilled with the goodies that had been left for us. We enjoyed our stay as much as the first time and would have no hesitation to booked this ideal spot for our next relaxing weekend.

Beautiful little bungalow with all the amenities you could need. Bed was so comfy too! Good spot for exploring Exmouth and the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend!

Lovely clean place, and the hot tub made our stay brilliant. Has everything you need for a home from home.

Generally a great place. We didn’t know there would be so much noise from the airport near by and this wasn’t made clear by any of the information we found before booking unfortunately. We noticed them from 6am -9/10pm. Great for early flights. The property itself was a good size and good condition as described. I’d personally say it has some wear and tear but as to be expected being popular option. Relatively clean, there was a lot of dust on the blinds and window ledges, at one point I opened the bedroom window and there was a lot of dust that blew onto our bed from the wind coming through the window. That’s how I noticed how dusty it was. I’m sure this will be amended. There also wasn’t a tin opener, (something I would have expected in a basic kitchen) and there was no oil salt and pepper as stated. I did message the host and they did say sorry thanks for letting us know. Generally a nice place just a few pointers. I would stay here again but just take a few more supplies.

We loved our stay at Pennys Place. Very well catered for children (lots of toys and books, cutlery, plates and cups) it really was a home from home. Very well equipped kitchen we loved the kitchen/dining area. Safe and enclosed property, and our 5 year old had lots of fun in the back garden. Very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Small shops super close by and bigger supermarket not far away at all. Numerous leaflets left out to help us plan for the day. We were able to visit Llandudno, Conwy, Rhyl very easily. Our first time as a family visiting Wales and it was fabulous. Thank you so much for an excellent bank holiday break :)

Nestled away from the city's relentless pace, every corner offers a true home away from home. This hidden gem does not merely meet expectation, it surpasses them. From the moment you arrive, the tranquillity envelops you like a warm embrace. Every amenity reflects Emma's meticulous eye for detail and her pride in crafting such a haven. The bungalow was immaculate and very high end with tasteful décor. We arrived to an afternoon tea (you can buy direct from Emma) for a very reasonable price. Emma very kindly added a chilled bottle of prosecco to go with it which was very much appreciated. The hot tub was amazing and very private. Emma and Colin were exceptional hosts going way beyond what is expected. If you are thinking of booking the bungalow please do not hesitate as you will not be disappointed. The people in Maybole are exceptionally kind and thoughtful which made made us feel very welcome!

We had a lovely time, as per all the reviews Felicity and Mike are excellent hosts, so friendly and accommodating. The bungalow is so cosy and homely, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need, with lots of thoughtful touches. Beautiful surroundings. I would certainly recommend.

Booked the bungalow as a suprise for my partners 30th, Belal beautifully decorated with rose petals, balloons, banner and chocolates. The bungalow was gorgeous, was such a chilled needed night! The only issue is next door had a fire in their front garden which made everywhere smell of smoke for a few hours! But overall we are so pleased with our stay and will definitely be back.

What a stunning place to stay! We really loved it. It's just such a beautiful, spacious, wonderful place to stay. It was very clean, with a helpful array in the kitchen. Esther was so very helpful, and brilliant with communications. Were a pleasure to have stay, very friendly quiet and respectful, I would recommend them to anyone, and I hope to meet them again
