“This was a 10 out of 5 experience and surpassed expectations by quite a bit! Walking in, the the first thing noticed (besides a super clean and cozy, warm open space) was a plate of homemade, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies fresh baked (still warm!) Now I don't eat that much sugar and I'm a cookie snob-but these were excellent!! The thoughtful little surprises just kept getting better, from the super clean well water, to the premium optional freezer food that you could buy (at less than retail price) in case you got hungry (note, there was also complimentary coffee, eggs, tea, etc. as well, not to mention the fresh baked cookies). The beds and blankets were super comfortable, and it was extremely quiet sleeping environment. They really went the whole nine yards to make the experience the best I've had yet at an Airbnb!”

“I can’t rave enough about what a fabulous experience we had staying with Nancy and John in their adorable little tiny cabin. It was so charming, and spotlessly clean. And we rented the boat for the day and had an amazing time fishing on beautiful Lake Nebagamon. And caught LOTS of fish!!! This is such a quiet and peaceful place whether you just want to sit on the front porch in the big wood chairs, or sit in the chairs at the end of the dock and watch a million stars in the sky at night, or take the boat or canoe or kayaks out on the water… you can’t go wrong! And the homemade banana bread is off the charts… what a treat! And just a few things about the space: don’t let the compostable toilet scare you, it’s absolutely clean and odorless and very user friendly. And just be aware that there is a very steep set of stairs up to the loft and sleeping area, so if you are unstable, or have a fear of climbing up steep ladders, you might want to sleep on the futon on the main floor. We slept upstairs, but we opted to leave our luggage on the first floor. We will absolutely be back to stay with Nancy and John when we return to the area. Highly recommend this charming little cottage with the most amazing hosts!!”

“I honestly couldn't offer anything that could be improved! Ed was on-site when we arrived to give us the rundown of the place. Beautiful cabin with an amazing view! Wonderful fireplace to sit at during a chilly night. There were two outdoor pits available, but we were a little hesitant to use them with the fire dangers and such. The neighbors we met were super nice. One gave us the info we needed for a place to eat each night of the week if we stayed all week! When we checked in, the dock wasn't in place, yet. We ran to the store, came back and a neighbor had put the dock in so we could sit out there and enjoy a gorgeous sunset! I would highly recommend Ed's cabin if you are looking for an affordable and wonderful place!”
