Enjoy the covered porch, with large rockers, to take in the views of the pasture At present time we don't have horses but are looking. You have your own privacy gate for security. Check in with no personal contact, private amenities & sanitized cleanings. Three night minimum on all holidays.

The house is clean and comfortable to stay in. There is a queen bed to sleep in, a nice TV to watch with directv, and there is also internet service. A great place to unwind or venture out. We are 17 miles from Lexington, 17 miles from Elgin, 23 miles from Taylor, and 45 miles from Austin. Come see us!

Starlight Cabin~Peaceful Countryside w/ Longhorns

The Starlight Cabin is the actual guest house for a working Longhorn cattle ranch. Although not a large acreage by Texas standards (48 acres,) this special location is perfect for those who wish to get out and away from the usual crowds. It is peaceful and isolated. This is a pet friendly property, and we do charge a $50 one time fee for pets (no exceptions). This fee covers 1 or 2 pets, and helps us keep this place available for guests with furry family members.

Looking for a peaceful escape with character? Welcome to our delightfully weird home. Inside you'll find a balcony, a shingle roof, a forest, giant hands, a chicken, stained glass, a rowing machine, games and room to dance. Outside, you'll find comfortable seating and a country porch and two bench swings. The house is a perfect jumping off point for Austin, Temple, College Station, Granger lake, and Lake Somerville.
