“Beautiful cottage, felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect for going out the day for hikes, swims, short or long adventures are a short drive away. Shops are 5 mins. But you wouldn’t need to leave if you didn’t want to, the surrounds are so peaceful, I enjoyed sitting on the porch reading and listening to the birds, and visiting George the pig/ the goats and sheep. Loved every minute and wish the weekend were longer to stay!”
Experience the peace and tranquility of country life. Koonwarra Cottage 1 & Koonwarra Cottage 2 (listed separately ) are set amongst six acres of spectacular gums and native gardens, an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and a little piece of the country atmosphere. Also a great base from which to explore beautiful Wilsons Promontory National park.
“The cottage was spacious and clean and the amenities were great. The check in was simple and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We BBQ’d twice whilst we stayed and the area to do it was perfect. It seems they both like to spend time in the garden and it shows. We spent some time chatting whilst they were trimming back some trees. Their dog (Kip?) is a lovely old golden retriever who loves pats and will happily lay at your feet for a few hours. Sandra and Brett are both good people and they had some tips for our travel to Wilson’s prom which we heeded. They also pointed us to a pizza place in a nearby town which is well worth a visit. We left our short stay in a very relaxed state. Thank you Sandra and Brett!”
Welcome to "O'Reillys Hill B&B"! Hi! I’m Wally, and Qin and I welcome you to share in our amazing tree-change experience! Now in our third year of living the dream on our Jumbuk farm, we invite you to see for yourself and find out if your dream is like ours!
“I totally recommend staying with Qin and Walter. They are both really lovely people and their pancakes are just like my father use to make them on Sunday mornings. The place has a really nice and relaxing atmosphere and the view from their big balcony is just astonishing. Even in the foggy days it gives you an aura of mysticism, like it was on your destiny to be there. Maybe it was. Walter is quite a smart guy always happy to show you something interesting, asking him about spoonerism and unwords. Qin on the other hand will make you feel like you finally arrived at home. I totally recommend this place and I hope I can come back.”
