We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

Christine is a fabulous host. She hosted my wife, and went above and beyond making sure she was taken care of. This listing is very clean and comfortable. The community pool, gym and car wash were great perks!

We’ve been to Rumbling Bald multiple times and this has been my favorite residence of all! It’s easily accessible, has tons of space, and is well equipped. But the host and her proactiveness and accessibility are what make outstanding. We absolutely loved our time there and hope to make it back again sometime!

We felt very lucky to find this place in a pinch. Our other air bnb that we booked a month+ ago had frozen water pipes. Tamera responded very quickly to our panicked, last minute booking. The place is immaculate. We had everything we needed. We were grateful for our stay here.

We had a great stay at Ruben and Janette's place. We were pleasantly surprised by just how clean, spacious, and bright the whole area was upon our arrival. We used the kitchen to make meals, and it was very well stocked with the essentials. If we had forgotten our toiletries, they were available in the bathroom. We enjoyed our days volunteering in the area and our evenings exploring the cool restaurants and stores in Black Mountain, then retreating to the comfy couch at the AirBnB. Thanks for a great stay!

My 17 year old daughter had a great long weekend in the Lake Lure area! We loved the beach area at Rumbling Bald that we have access to with this rental. We also did Chimney Rock state park and ate at very cute restaurants in the town.

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

We enjoyed our stay at Ellington Loft, especially the outdoor space. We appreciated all the space (one king bedroom is upstairs in loft), 3 full bathrooms, and starter supplies most places don't provide. The kitchen could use some large skillets, but besides that we had what we needed. Closest parking garage is max $12/day (no in/out). Would stay again.

We loved our stay. The place was great, the location amazing and we loved the views of the city and surrounding mountains from the room.

Great Basecamp for a few days riding and getting unplugged. Shope Creek is a special place. The owners have a great place, it was walk in ready for my dog companion, and all the outdoor space offered us multiple places to hang out, find sun, or soak in the hot tub.

This house was the perfect fit my relay race team who had an event an Asheville! We needed a house with FOUR FULL BATHROOMS with easy access to Asheville. (Ironically, many of the comparable large Asheville area homes are on tenuous mountain roads which do not actually provide easy access to Asheville, and they cost a staggering amount to boot.) Of the home's five bedrooms, four of them are sequestered in their own corner of the house which provides a lot of peace and quiet. Oh, and that fifth bedroom is a massive monster suite with its own loft office. So, yes, everyone got a good night sleep before our event! The downstairs living room is an extremely spacious and cozy place which was a wonderful setting for our tired team post-race. The kitchen and dining areas served our needs for a quick breakfast prior to our event. Because of our crazy schedule, the rest of our meals were out of the home. This is the Yoga retreat that is not just for yogis. :)

We had a lively stay! There’s tons of space, inside and outside. Very quiet area but it’s still 10-12 minutes from downtown Asheville. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for our family of four. Super clean, well stocked, and location is amazing!! Easy to get to any part of Asheville. Especially enjoyed walking to the coffee shop & bar down the road. Movie nights with the projector were a lot of fun, and a great selection of board games:) Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet spot in Asheville.

There really are no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. For our family of 6, and our 2 doggies, we were looking for a large space in a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy the holidays together. We are all so busy and run in different directions, and we thought this would be a great way to have a captive Christmas for everyone to enjoy time together! We were right! The owner has the house decorated perfectly for Christmas, and the basement level was perfect for our 3 grown boys to play video games and bond together! Grandma enjoyed the large tv with the giant window overlooking the mountain and lake - and mom & dad (us) enjoyed the master bedroom & bath with a balcony overlooking the mountain and lake. It was perfect, like Switzerland, but only 2 hours from home! We have treasured memories of our trip!

Everything was great, our group really enjoyed the place especially the gaming area in the garage!

Valerie’s place was exactly as described. We had everything we needed and lots of little extra’s that we didn’t expect. The kitchen and baths were a bit dated but everything was in great shape so it didn’t affect function at all. There isn’t enough seating in the living room for 8 but the dining room is connected so some of us sat at the table talking anyway while others watched TV, etc. The driveway is very steep and parking is limited to 2 vehicles but the resort has an area where you can park additional vehicles. My older FIL had some difficulty navigating up the driveway to the front door. We also had a 2 year old with us and the house was perfect for him. He could go on the screened porch and wander the house as there is a door to the stairway which I appreciated. The home is very comfortable overall for a family. My older children thoroughly enjoyed the game room in the basement. We would definitely book again if my FIL is not with us.

Excellent place. Tons of items from pots and pans to extra batteries. The best stocked unit I have ever stayed in. Very clean and comfortable. Top notch instructions for all aspects of unit. Excellent location. A++++
