Studio apartment in the basement of our home. It has its own driveway and entrance. The studio apartment locks from the outside and locks from the rest of our basement. It is about 800 sq. ft. Our house is conveniently located to Hickory (10 miles) Morganton (10 miles) Lenoir (15 miles) Table Rock/Lake James (20 miles) Blue Ridge Parkway( 35 miles) Boone (50 miles) Charlotte (50 miles). We also have a 70 acre cattle and sheep farm that you are free to explore. Very quiet and private.

Located in a mountain hollow of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, come sit on the front porch of this homeplace on 10 acres. Situated off Hwy.321 north, right outside Lenoir, NC, heading toward Blowing Rock & Boone, NC. The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.
