This comfortable self-contained studio is situated below our house. It's a totally separate space with off-street parking and self check in access via a key safe. Close to all that Castlemaine has to offer, it is within walking distance to the town, The Mill Complex, The Bridge Hotel, and the Botanic Gardens; and just a 7 min walk up the hill from the railway station. Enjoy fabulous views from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the north of town through to Mt Alexander.
“Awesome little place for a short stay. The Information and details provided from Gill were spot on and timely. The place is amazing, staring out the huge windows, framing the night sky was awesome. Well appointed and tastefully styled. Definitely staying there next time we're in the Maine!”

“Murrnong Manna is an impressive feat of sustainability surrounded by beautiful bushland, made all the more enjoyable by charming host Ellen and her lovingly home-cooked meals. My choice of accommodation ensured I had a peaceful sanctuary to return to in the evenings after an exhausting weekend, for which I am very grateful!”

“This is an amazing and family friendly place for a quiet getaway. Our family and dog loved the thoughtful touches and time away from the busy everyday life. The property is huge and safely fenced so your dog will have plenty of space to roam and run around in. We loved the CD player outside on the decking where we could listen to soft jazz music (there’s a whole stack of CDs and movies in one of the bedrooms) while chatting on the couch. My husband and I also loved sitting on the two chairs around the other side of the decking to gaze at the night sky/stars. The dining table can be pulled out to accommodate 6 people. Please note that this property is further out from town and does not have fast wifi or phone connection, which I loved as it forces you to spend time together with your family rather than being glued to the screen. I now have fond memories of us as a family spending quality time together in this quaint cottage.”
