Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat, tubes, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

To get to your cabin you'll begin by winding your way through a vintage salvage yard, filled with relics of autos and farm equipment of the past. Your Cabin is located back on a quiet hill with excellent views of the surrounding area. The outstanding stars in the night sky will be your last view of the evening. Small cabin located at the end of a paved, dead end road in Carp Lake, Mi. 10 min drive from: Dark sky park, Mackinac Island ferries, Mackinaw City Crossings, hiking trails and more. Easy access to snowmobile/biking trails from cabin. There is a shared sauna on the property with two other cabins . The cabins are all secluded with there own lot.
