David’s place was great! Right by the beach, kitchen was decently equipped, and the WiFi was fast (800+ Mbps). Perfect little spot for the price. Would stay here again!

The place is simply beautiful! A house with a discreet elegance, which we are gradually discovering, in every detail, with every look. Very well-equipped, welcoming and full of works of art that give a special charm to the environment. The shower is excellent, the landscaping is beautiful and the location is perfect. It was a lovely stay — we hope to be back soon!

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay in Robs cottage. Rob was outstanding—his communication was prompt, clear, and genuinely thoughtful. He went above and beyond with local recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, which really enhanced our trip. The home is older, as noted in the listing, so we knew what to expect. It has a lot of character and felt welcoming, especially since pets are allowed—a huge plus for us. There is small café just steps away, to enjoy an evening beverage with the locals. All in all, a comfortable stay with a fantastic host and great authentic Portuguese charm.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could need. There are a bunch of fun bars and restaurants to explore in the area. There’s public transport available nearby, but all the main attractions are also in walking distance. We felt comfortable and safe walking around at night as the streets are well lit and there are always people out. Karen and her co-hosts were very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again!

we really enjoyed our time in Colares as a family with two young kids. the house is perfectly located with stunning views of the ocean and several restaurants and shops nearby. Would always return-highly recommended!

Charming and peaceful.Elio was very friendly and helpful to us and spoke very good English which helped since we do not have much Portuguese. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning. We enjoyed the pool and also the little plunge pool just outside our front door.

Beautiful artistic house in the heart of Azoia complete with ocean views from the top balcony. The house was well stocked with everything that you need for a home away from home. The host, Bruno, was really accommodating and went out of his way to source us a crib, and provide welcome food and drinks. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The apartment was as described and had plenty of space. The kitchen was large and well-equipped with everything needed. However, the fridge had a very strong fish odour, which was unpleasant — aside from that, everything was very clean. The bathroom shower was quite small and clogged quickly. Overall, I think it’s a great apartment. The beach is within walking distance, but some areas of the house could benefit from renovation. A car is necessary when staying here, as it’s not very central to large grocery stores or restaurants. That said, it’s still only about 20 minutes from Lisbon and 10 minutes from Costa da Caparica by car.

This place is magical. The photos don't reflect how beautiful the farm is. We were with 2 small kids who just wanted to run around with the donkey sheep and chickens... There is a stream running beside the property which you hear when outside. Very quiet and pictures! We would love to come back again. Very close to Colares and all the villages around.

We love it! Magnificent view and very well equipped house. The friendliness and availability for everything we need. The hosts Mónica and Paulo are relentless to give us the best experience possible. The kids were always entertained. From the games in the pool and the Garden or in the playground later in the afternoon! We enjoyed the barbecue every day, which is right in front of the pool and we can all be together. We hope to be back

We loved our stay. Most of all the view of the ocean was spectacular to wake up to every morning. The house is a family home and had everything we needed. Great location for surfing, and access to Ericeira, shops, restaurants and bars.

Lovely, private villa. The pool was unheated, so cool, but refreshing.

We had been Staying for a week and found a very lovely welcome home. The reality is better than pictures. We appreciated the tips and nice recommadations. A nice location with possibilty to go to beach stay at house or go to lissabon!!

We found a hidden gem in nature within a 40 minute drive to Lisbon! There is tons to see within a 15 minute to 1.5 hour in various directions. The remote home was very private, serene, with beautiful décor, with modern amenities and rustic charm. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals, and the cozy living spaces invited us to relax and unwind after a day of exploration. The garden, game room and pool add a bonus flare especially for families. The Wifi was fast for remote working. The host Joana and her husband's warm hospitality and local insights made our stay unforgettable.

Francisca for me really is a superhost. From the beginning until we left she was always there for us with helpful information concerning the house oder things you can do around in this Area. A big big thank you for letting us live in your home. We enjoyed really a lot . The house which is a littler bit older but has lots of charme has two bigger sleeping rooms and one smaller children room, so it is perfect for a family with two to four or even five children( there is even a baby bed ) . The house has a nice atmosphere and the garden ist perfect to play badminton or other games . The Area is perfect if you like to play golf, because the courses are in walking distance . For all the other things you need a car . A small super market is two minutes away with the car . The beaches of Fonta de Telha oder Costa da Caparica you reach in 10 Minutes with the car, to Lisbon you need about twenty minutes, if there’s a normal traffic, so for us this was strategically the best place to start our activities . We would come back anytime to have our holidays here again . Thomas Schneider

We had a great experience at Luis House. It's even better than what we expected. The perfect place for families or friends. Beautiful, well located, amazing garden and very comfortable. Monica is an incredibly helpful host! She was so accommodating and even when things on the listing were missing (hairdryer and iron) she brought them immediately. The location was a bit further from Vila Franca than we initially thought (still only 10 minutes) but the property was very nice and private. Would recommend and would stay again! Thank you Monica :)
