Traditional 2-bedroom apartment in medieval house

ColleenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The apartment is accessed by wide stairs to the second floor of the most gorgeous building! We were in awe at the history of the building that was described as 1000 years old. Wonderful views of the Luberon hillsides from the living area windows. It was suggested that Napoleon stayed in the main bedroom which added to the whole experience! We did not have any ghost visitors if you worry about that sort of thing. The village is small and quaint. We arrived on a Sunday evening and struggled to find an open restaurant despite google telling us several restaurants were open.

La Gardette en Luberon classified 3 stars pool

Great place, we'll be happy to go back. The listing is accurate, the accommodation is very good, clean and has everything you need. The best part is the hosts, with warm hospitality, very discreet presence (we felt alone) but present and very responsive, attentive. Thank you again so much for this stay and all your attention.

Villa at the foot of the Luberon, lavender fields

VictoriaRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We had a wonderful stay here. She was very accommodating, it was a last minute booking. She gave excellent directions and we arrived after dark so she was waiting for us with a light because it is a more remote area. We only stayed two nights but if time had allowed we would have loved to stay longer. She gave excellent recommendations for where to eat and places to go. The place was fully equipped with everything you could need. To get to the upstairs bedrooms there are some steep steps, but it is only around 8-10 steps. The upstairs bathroom has a giant shower, the one downstairs is a good size as well. The grounds are very pretty. We had a private area that is perfect for a few drinks and enjoying the view. It is a pretty central location with 15-30 minute drives to Roussilon, Gordes, and Menerbes. We weren't there for lavender season but I imagine that it is amazing at that time of year. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Very nice house with a very nice enclosed courtyard on a quiet street - Nice environment and several sites to visit nearby, hilltop villages that are worth the detour - Sébastien arranged the arrival and departure times for us -
