Cabin vacation rentals in Chautauqua

Loved the hot tub, loved the record player, all in all was a very fun weekend and if I ever get the chance to come back I will!

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. It was what we were looking for for a short getaway. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend and would stay again

Adorable cabin in a tranquil setting. Cabin was decorated very nice. Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in! Loved the coffee bar with all the extras. Games were great for the kids. It was a lovely place to stay!

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

The stay was amazing. Angela is a great host - to the ones leaving a bad review - please checkout the description - know what you're signing up for. Also don't skip the breakfast! it's a must have!!!

We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful space for us and our dogs to relax after traveling all day! Wish we had more time at the spot!

This place is a dream! The cabin was better than described. We wanted for nothing! Checking in was seamless. We enjoyed lazy days of reading and fishing and hanging out with our 7 month old and our pup. Winnie left us fully stocked—even firewood for the wood burning stove which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was more than enough to keep us super toasty during our stay. The river and surrounding area was perfect for hiking (plan to use a baby carrier rather than a stroller). The cabin is cozy and spacious too. The kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for cooking a big pot of chili to feast on. There were ample art supplies, books, and games. We sincerely hope that Winnie will have us back again as we can see this cabin becoming a family favorite.

Place was very cool with one heck of a view from the kitchen window. We are simple people and easy to please so we loved it. Would go back there for sure.

The cabin was on the river and had a very nice yard that sloped right down to the water. It was November and we did fish a little but were unlucky. I would definitely rent this in the summer just to play in the water. There was fire wood and a great fire pit. The deck and furniture were excellent. The cabin was spotless and had amenities that I did not expect--dish soap, kitchen towels, washer, dryer. etc. The only possible negative comment is that the sitting area was combined with the kitchen so the TVs were located in the bedrooms. This would have been fine had it been more than my husband and I. We usually travel with family and never turn on a TV. The host, Erwin, communicated well and made sure we could contact him at any time with any questions. I would rent again from him with confidence.

Wonderful private space, no tv makes it a great space to reflect and get away. Wooded area with plenty of state forests near by makes it a great place if you’re looking to explore. Love how updated the cabin is and just how clean it felt. Will definitely return!

The cabin is beautiful and off the grid. Made me feel like I was staying at my family’s cabin when I was a kid. Very peaceful and great to sit back and relax. House is very clean and has beautiful surroundings.

My family enjoyed this cabin very much! The kids enjoyed visits from our goat friend and they loved going in the kayak. The host was very kind and responsive. The cabin is beautiful and clean and had all the amenities we needed! The location was peaceful and private but not far from restaurants/activities. Peace of the Pie is a darling cafe nearby we’d recommend and the peanut butter pie at Goode’s Family Restaurant was out of this world! A short drive to hike Zoar Valley too. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here last year at the same time in March. We like the hiking opportunities in the area. awe were also fortunate to get another warm weekend in mid March (same as last year) and managed to get out on a nice trail again this year. Becki is very responsive has prepared a wonderful home for a quiet weekend or a longer stay. We are very likely to continue to return here on a regular basis.

What a wonderful winter getaway with my family . 7 adults, 2 little ones. Everything was exactly as we expected , description and photos are right on!! Fully stocked Kitchen had everything needed to cook for our crew!! Plenty of room for all of us!! Plenty to do !! Game room was a hit, and large dining table for family games after dinner was perfect !! Village of Ellicottville is drivable in minutes, walking is an option, it was just too cold outside! Everyone asked if we could return !! Host, Mandy was very easy to rent from, easy instructions, to access home and for check out!!

Very beautiful house and very spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms are so cozy! House is in a perfect quiet location but still close to town. Will definitely be staying here again!!!

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lost Woods Cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy with unique and beautiful decor and furnishings. We thank Barry and Diane for their hospitality and for sharing their lovely Lost Woods Cabin with our family. It truly exceeded our expectations!

Amazing place! The host is very responsive and helpful! We had a change on plans last minute and he was very accommodating to all of our needs! We will be going back next year.

The Dreamweaver cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Even with an event going on over the weekend our stay was quiet and peaceful! We loved having the farm store just a short walk away, plenty of trails to hike and a beautiful lake to enjoy. Overall it was wonderful and relaxing stay!

This was an absolutely beautiful mountain lodge home just about a 10 minute drive from the “main” town of Ellicotville. Elizabeth was very kind and clear with all of the instructions for check in/about the property in general. Our favorite part was how spacious this property was and the beautiful tall ceilings/high windows that made it a perfect “winder wonderland” cozy escape. We came for Holiday Valley, so this was an easy drive to there and the main restaurants, shops and entertainment. P.S. A 4 wheel drive, reliable car is a MUST for the winter. We got quite a bit of snow and it is very important for your safety, as this property is located on a hill. Wonderful place— highly recommend for family, friends, and anybody visiting the area!

We had an amazing time, this place was perfect for my husband and I and our pup! It was very close to snowmobile trails, which were also amazing! James was an amazing host!
