Really lovely stay in a beautiful, warm cabin which had everything we needed! Towels, juice, tea, coffee, milk all included. Wifi was helpful with the lack of signal. We arrived in the dark, so it was lovely to wake up to see the horses and ducks!

We loved staying in the Mill Pond Caravan. The grounds are just stunning! Julie's instructions were very clear, so we found it and got in easily. The caravan is cosy and well equipped. fresh clean towels and bed linens and extra blankets if you get chilly. We had a bit of a wet week weather-wise, so it was great to be able to pop the heating on quickly in the morning to take the edge off. Otherwise, the caravan is warm and dry and cosy. Julie is definitely a super host, very friendly and welcoming. The kids absolutely loved the walk up into the orchard and then back down by the waterfall to follow the mill stream back. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in Jan’s accommodation. We arrived 1st week of March and were greeted with a very clean, warm living space. The freshly cut Daffodils were a nice touch. You get your own little boundary containing a lush lawn, 2 beautiful apple trees and lots of seasonal flowers, it’s pretty and you get a nice sense of privacy. Jan is a great host. She is very friendly & communicative, has great local knowledge and always happy to help with whatever she can. She gives you plenty of space to enjoy your break but if you’re up for a chinwag she has all the time for you. The town of Bishops Castle has a lot to offer, with lots of small businesses that seem to be thriving. There are a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes all of which are good in their own ways. Our favourite was probably the Happy Bap for a small bite and a coffee. There is also an excellent quality butcher, petrol station, 2 convenience shops and variety of cute crafty shops.

We had a last minute stay with Dave for a music event, my second time staying at the motorhome for an event. Dave is brilliant with communication and always happy to accommodate. The motorhome is exactly as described and Dave is happy to answer any questions promptly. Lovely stay yet again. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We had such an amazing time here! 2 adults, 3 kids and 1 dog and there was plenty of space. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be booking again!

A really lovely experience. Never done anything like this before so wasn’t sure what to expect. We had a warm welcome from the hosts who answered all our questions. Liz was very informative before our arrival. Murdock is so much fun, everyone should give it a go x

I just want to say a big thank you to Jo and her dad for building a fully off grid shepherds hut that is beautiful inside and out. We booked very last minute due to an issue where we were camping, Jo quickly accepted our request and communicated with us in a prompt and friendly manner. We arrived at Jo’s hut at nearly 8pm and she went above and beyond making sure we were looked after and was waiting for us to show us the basics which was a lovely touch. The hidaway hut has been crafted in a way that you have everything you need should you forget anything. Jo is extremely friendly and attentive and will make sure you have a lovely stay! Although it was a short stay of only a few hours we had such a good nights sleep and will definitely be coming back in the future!

We had the best stay in Shepherd’s View. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Overlooking a field of highland cows. Even saw some goats and lots of kites. Hot tub was delightful after long day hiking. Close to town and lovely recommendations for food.

Beautiful place, managed to catch 3 fish too to add to a very lovely weekend. We will be recommending to everyone we know! Lovely weather so got a sunrise and sunset too! Everyone on site was so welcoming too which added to our experience. Would definitely return!

Nice private location, easy to find, 30 mins from Alton towers. Loads of local pubs and restaurants. Breakfast items provided, clean and tidy, comfortable, cosy, communication was amazing always very responsive! Will definitely use again. Thank you Tara & family

Quiet, clean, comfortable. Great communication from owner. Lovely to have space to cook and relax after a long day of walking. She even left out free tea and coffee and milk.

Didnt utilise the place enough, great place in what feels a world of its own. You feel far away from life and the busy nature it is. Perfect to relax, unwind, chill, recharge and rest from life itself. The surrounding areas are beautiful and there are a few nice towns to visit close by. I had a relaxing short stay in the caravan. The van was toasty warm when I arrived and everything was as described. The bed was comfy with lovely bed linen and there were thick fluffy towels. The showers are spotless with plenty of hot water. The whole site is well looked after and very peaceful with fabulous views all round. I hope to return later in the year.

Their hospitality was truly exceptional - they greeted us with a big smile and provided us with a detailed tour of the property, giving us all the insider tips on local attractions, dining options, and must-see spots. Their attentiveness and eagerness to help made our experience that much more enjoyable. As for the property itself, it was nothing short of spectacular. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. The outdoor space was equally impressive, featuring a serene patio/garden area. Location-wise, this Airbnb is ideally situated near key attractions, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Overall, our experience was nothing short of perfect!

What a great little setup, loved having access to the spa/ gym facilities. We were lucky enough to be visited in the mornings and evenings by a gorgeous dog that looks like bungle from Rainbow that is so friendly and loves people. I would recommend for a simple and straight forward getaway in great surroundings that does not break the bank!
