Lovely, Quiet Studio Annex (with Netflix)

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The annex is clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. Nice area, really peaceful. Sliding patio doors overlook the garden, with lots of trees and bird song. Very little other sound which is amazing for somewhere so close to Dorchester. Clear instructions for everything, lots of parking and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Self catering studio flat on beautiful Devon farm

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Booked fairly late but were so pleased we did. Perfect location for what we were doing and so close to lovely beaches in the area. Property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

The Countryside Loft in stunning rural Dorset

ChrisRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

Peaceful garden annexe

SophieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a fantastic stay at the garden annex! The hosts were more than lovely and made us feel very welcome. The place was well equipped and beautifully decorated and the shower was amazing! Also the weather was just great so we spent a lot of time in the garden and enjoyed the nature. It’s a very special place that gives you the full good old English experience - for German readers: wer sich einmal wie in einem LandLust-Magazin fühlen möchte, ist hier genau richtig! However, we do have to agree with the several previous reviews that demanded a deep cleaning. It’s just a bit sad, because when we arrived it kept us from feeling comfortable at first. But after we accommodated and spent some time cleaning up ourselves, we felt nothing but cozy and at home. Nonetheless, this is not how it’s supposed to be in my opinion especially since it was one of the few AirBnBs that actually charged a cleaning fee… Apart from that this is an excellent place to stay and we’d always love to come back!

The Apple Store

KatharineRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Had a lovely two nights at the Apple Barn. Jocelyn was so friendly and helpful, and the location was brilliant, very central to Bruton. We had everything we could need and really appreciated the little touches like being left some home made cookies, bread and milk. Thanks so much Jocelyn for a wonderful stay

Springfield

JeffreyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay at Georgia's place. The apartment was quite cold on our first evening (it was an unusually cold April/ Easter weekend, and the central heating had been switched off, presumably after the winter), but after the first night the heat from the electric wall-mounted heater built up in the flat. Also, Lara (Georgia's mother) was very friendly and helpful and provided us on our first morning with an extra heater, though in the end we hardly needed it. The location is very peaceful despite being beside a medium busy road, and there are good footpaths running from opposite the house. We resolved the problem of exiting the parking spot close to the blind turning by approaching the property from the South, although that's a detour from many places, and leaving Northwards. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and comfortable, and, whilst quite small, it was adequate for us for four nights and very good value.

Our stay at Old Smokey was perfect. Avril and Jim were brilliant hosts who were attentive and helpful with anything we needed. With beautiful views of the countryside and a great layout that accommodates couples perfectly. I cannot recommend Old Smokey highly enough. We will definitely be staying again in the future 😁

Character Barn in the Heart of Beaminster

GraceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay with Sarah, and was warmly welcomed with treats for us and our dog. Cottage was well equipped and clean. Great location with a short walk for pubs, shop and restaurants. Beautiful area with plenty of walks. There was no parking, but only a short walk to a pay and display or free on road parking and we didn’t struggle to find a space.

Cosy lodge, parking, beautiful setting, Lyme Regis

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Helen’s place was perfect for myself and my daughter as a base to explore the area. I liked that you could either take a very short drive to access the Lyme Regis sea front or if you’re a walker like we are you can take a nice walk along the Lim River down to the sea front. Coming back (uphill) it took us 50 minutes. The property was very clean, tidy and well organised. We did have a little noise from some night visitors - local wildlife coming under the lodge but on reporting this to Helen she took swift action and secured the area they were gaining access. We had a lovely stay and I would have no reservation in recommending or staying there again myself.

It was so peaceful and quiet , after reading reviews we wasnt disappointed. After being out in the days to come back to the hot tub what a joy .. we used the bbq and sat in the seating area with the firepit going .. watching the deer 🦌 from the garden was a hi-light for me .. we did visit the pub for food and drinks which also didn't disappoint ..the cabin was cosy but had all that you needed ..all in all a lovely few days away with a relaxing setting ...

Royal mail said they couldn't locate the proroprty but we found it easily. Tazmin messaged daily with post updates then lent us all her own personal maps and Devon and Somerset map books too. W'ed have been completely lostt getting to multiple appts without her help. A gem of a lady. Tazmins Potting Shed was stunning, restful, super comfy and stylish. we cooked most of our own meals in the modern kitchen. Love good ovens and induction hobs! Highly reccomend

Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Just back from a beautiful stay near Swanage. Loved the comfortable and cosy cottage provided by our warm and welcoming hosts Charlotte and Will. Such a peaceful and tranquil location. Stylishly furnished too and equipped with everything you need for your holiday. Some lovely touches as well, including fresh bread, goodies, a chilled bottle of rose and lovely Beauty Pie shower products. The location is just perfect. A 10 minute stroll to the Southwest Coast Path and Durleston Country Park just a 20 minute walk away. An easy 20 minute walk in to Swanage but allow an extra 10 mins for the uphill walk back. We would definitely come back again to enjoy the delights of the beautiful Isle of Purbeck and were better to stay. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

An ideal location for local Christmas family visiting , so we didn’t have need for local pubs/restaurants, however useful info from previous guests was available. It’s a lovely little ‘cottage’ with all you need , loads of hot water , and a nice cool bottle of wine on arrival !

Spacious Stables Conversion

PennyRating, 5 starstoday
We hired this incredible property to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday, and it absolutely exceeded all expectations! The place was amazing—modern, stylish, and packed with the coolest tech features that made the whole experience feel extra special. From smart lighting and sound systems to high-end appliances and seamless entertainment options, everything was thoughtfully designed and easy to use. The hosts were honestly some of the most accommodating we’ve ever encountered—so friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our event was perfect. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. If you’re looking for a place that’s both luxurious and cutting-edge, with hosts who truly care, this is it.
