Completely self-contained with its own private entrance, it has a courtyard with outdoor seating and parking for one car. An excellent base from which to visit Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles, picturesque Hexham and Corbridge and the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Horsley boasts a good pub and an Arts Centre/cafe and good local walks.

Welcome to our air BnB, this is a private flat space comprising of a spacious bedroom with king size bed. Large bathroom with jet shower and separate bath. Living room with sofa, smart TV and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Convenient location, on transport route to Newcastle city centre. 10min drive to Close House Golf Club, and walking distance to shops and pubs. Great area for walking. Note: We have two friendly cats, neither have access to the private accommodation or entrance.

Beautiful Tyne Valley Escape

Situated in the beautiful Village of Ovingham this accommodation comprises of a large double room with a private bathroom with shower. Attached to the owners house, It has its own front door allowing private access for guests. The room has small kitchenette area with a sink, fridge, kettle and microwave. Perfect for those wanting to explore the Tyne Valley. The property sits on cycle route 72. Hadrian's Wall Trail is close by and the train station, shop and pub are all a few minutes walk away.

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Surrounded by fields, trees, alpacas and fresh air. 0.6 miles to Hadrian’s Wall. Close House, Matfen Hall, airport, Newcastle, Corbridge and Hexham nearby. No pets or smoking. This spacious self contained set up is ideal for those working in the area or for singles or couples wanting an overnight stay for a reasonable price in Newcastle. Located just off the A1 to the north of the city, it is situated in a quiet residential family area and has ample free street parking nearby.
