Excellent stay in the comfortable annex, equipped with everything we needed. Nice outside space to sit overlooking the lovely garden. William was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely quiet surroundings yet close enough to good road networks to get around the area. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Excellent place to stay. Parked and walked everywhere. Great pub The Boat just a short walk, others within walking distance too but we didn’t try them. Tile museum surprisingly good, worth a visit. We found the house really comfortable and well presented. For location and a nice quiet stay it would be difficult to better. Highly recommended.

We had a really good stay at Iron House's "Hillary's Hideaway" previously and so we booked at Iron House again to visit friends in the area. "James' Place" was even better for us as it is all on the ground floor. It was clean and comfortable with everything you could want for a short break with our dog. The kitchen amenities are first rate, the bedroom is huge and the bathroom is like new. We had a great stay.

It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.
