Very cosy place with everything you need

I arrived in Saintes in a bit of a disaster after having a flat tire on the highway, arriving in the evening at a time when all the garages were already closed. Of all the homes available at the time, Frédéric and Agnès's seemed by far to be the best. I absolutely do not regret this choice: the apartment is very nice, cozy, well located and close to the pedestrian city center and restaurants, modern and tastefully and originally decorated. Beautiful view of the Charente, and flooded with the light of the rising sun in the morning... Enough to make you forget the hassles of the day before. The real plus: easy access to housing, clear instructions from the owner. Who in addition was particularly pleasant and responsive in his communication. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Saintes (whether it is unplanned, or you want to discover this beautiful little town).

In my opinion, one of the best apartments in Angoulême with a tasteful and courteous host.

apart from that the accommodation is on the second floor and difficult for anyone with health problems and the low bed the rest was perfect

This is a little bit of heaven. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything (but still have enough to do), somewhere quiet (but still with lots going on) and somewhere that feels like a world away from stress and fuss (but still with Angoulême 30 minutes' drive away), you've found it. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. There's everything you need (including a bottle of red when we arrived!) and restaurants and bars are less than 5 minutes' walk away. The dock at the back of the house on the river may be the best place ever to enjoy a coffee and watch the ducks or open a bottle in the evening. The best place we've found to de-stress. Love it.

Have a good week with Carole who was kind enough to host us despite a last minute booking. Carole leaves you her home with confidence. The house is spacious and the environment is very quiet. There is a nice little garden with a ping pong table that allows for good moments of fun!! Lots of possible visits to nearby castles, close to Angouleme which is a very nice town. Only 1h30 from Royan. There's plenty to do!! Great value for the money. Recommended.

A very peaceful family stay for Christmas. Very good recommendations on places to visit and a delicious pineau in the fridge as soon as we arrived (don't hesitate to taste the rest of their production, we were impressed) thank you Dolorès for your welcome as well as your husband. The accommodation is spacious, really very well equipped whether in the kitchen or bathroom. In summer, the terrace must be a real asset! We'll come back without hesitating!

We had a lovely stay in Marie Line's house. We particularly appreciated the quality of the welcome, and the large garden with the sheltered garden furniture. The house is very spacious, and the bedding is of very good quality in all rooms.

We went to Cognac for the Blues Passion festival. The accommodation is ideal, central and close to everything (shops, public garden, restaurants, bakeries...). Ludovic welcomed us in person, very friendly and gave good advice. The accommodation is very convenient, clean, very well equipped, very personal where you feel at home. Excellent bedding. comfort. No complaints. Very convenient private parking to leave the car for the duration of the stay. Thanks Ludovic for everything!!!!
