“Ben was overly accommodating even when we got turned around and he met us an hour passed our arrival time! Ben gave us great direction and tips on where to hike! The area was so peaceful and quiet with an amazing view of the hills during the day and an unbelievable view of the stars at night! We are currently picking dates for next months “home away from home”!”
Cabin 36 is located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Concan. The Frio River is a short walk from the cabin -- approximately 200 yards. The cabin has a queen bed and a bunk bed. The 4% Resort Fee is actually the 4% Local HOT that Airbnb does not collect and remit on our behalf.
“The Buchanan cabins are at a great location! Everything is within a short drive and the access to the river is a short walk! Helen answered all my questions within a timely manner! Plenty of room outside for kids to play and nice spot for adults to bbq and hangout!”

“Patricia and Ken's place is a dream. You'll find no better place to relax on a trip to Garner State Park or Lost Maples. We loved meeting them and chatting about their property and all the fun aspects of it--from the star gazing/bird watching platform, to the chapel, to the hiking opportunities in the dry creek bed, they have it all! Pat and Ken also have the best hospitality. We were greeted by them personally and given freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Each morning they included a delicious homemade breakfast. Their attractive cabin has plenty of outdoor seating (and swings) as well as everything you could possibly need inside. They've thought of all the conveniences, including blackout curtains sewn by Patricia herself! You won't regret staying here; we (and our two dogs) loved it and felt so relaxed!”
