Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Costa Rica

I have stayed here before and always come back - the apartment is perfect - fast WiFi and easy to get everywhere in the San Jose area. I use Uber while in CR and the location is perfect - Uber always available quickly. The host is always available and quick to respond to any question and recommendations… As they say - she has very positive energy and is a pleasure to work with on any request. I will be back for sure! Pura Vida

Carolina was an excellent host: communicative, attentive, and genuinely caring. The place was perfect for our family, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. During our visit, we faced an unexpected emergency, and Carolina went above and beyond to assist us. Her quick responses, dedication, and support made all the difference, ensuring we felt safe and well taken care of. We’re incredibly grateful for her hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

There are only 2 washing machine and drier, one of each, and one pair is run through an app and one pair is run by a card provided by Marco but you have to go to the gate and load it for about $4 for 2 loads which is not bad but it's always busy and it's in a separate building by the pool.

Great building in a very modern area of San Jose steps away from all the action. Host is very friendly and always very responsive for whatever you may need. Definitely recommend.

George’s place was awesome. This was our final stay in CR before leaving. The check in process was easy and the front desk personnel were very friendly. The unit itself was clean, cozy, and very comfortable! The area was walkable with lots of public transportation near by. Thank you George!

Good place to stay and discover the area

Carolina, is very helpful and professional. I have already booked another condo in the same complex with her. I have her on what’s app and she is supper responsive and helpful. I plan to continue to use her for all my needs in San Jose

Everything was great

Great host and nice condo, but it should be stated that the complex is up a steep hill. We are seniors, and a month of going up and down was not feasible. Be in good shape, or rent a car or golf cart for your stay. The carts are road legal and capable of reaching a large number of groceries and restaurants. We had a great time and really enjoyed the pool and other guests.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jennifer’s place! It is a wonderful building that is in a perfect location to walking and exploring the city and local flavors. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing safety, security, and keeping everything pristine, and the amenities are perfect for restful days. Staying here absolutely elevated our experience in Costa Rica and we will certainly be aiming to stay here for future visits! Thank you!

Very good location, it is comfortable, spacious, cool, good view, quiet and close to San Jose and the restaurants. Also, it is easy to get to and it complies with everything that is shown in the post. I would come back again.

this is our second time staying with Jon. its a very nice place, strong wifi and he's fast to answer if we have questions or issues. we stayed in 2 other places on that property but Jon's is best because you can't hear the highway noise from his place and it's in the first floor so safe for kids not to be with a balcony. Definitely recommended

The view is incredible. This view itself was probably my favorite thing about San Jose. Very nice building, seemed to be the nicest in the area. The unit feels like a showroom that has been converted to an Airbnb. You must be able to sleep with the sounds of street traffic. The water heater did break momentarily. The host was responsive and sent someone to investigate the issue immediately. Not the nicest neighborhood but we struggled to find nice neighborhoods in San Jose in general. 5 stars for this unit. 2 stars for San Jose.

This apartment has a great location and amenities like the gym, which is way better than a hotel gym. Very close restaurants and cafeterias so you don’t need to drive. The parking is very secure. I don’t recall if air conditioner was listed or not in the description but the apartment does not have air conditioner and some days got very warm.

Excellent service, the place is beautiful and quiet

The host (Marlon) was very responsive and was there when we arrived to welcome us with a high class. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning in the living room, kitchen and in each of the 3 bedrooms. There are also three standing fans. The pool of the complex near the accommodation with several pools and layout is lovely. We would recommend it without hesitation. If we have a chance, we will come back.

Chris was a great host. Very helpful and responsive. The place was great for our family of 4. The kitchen had all the cutlery and utensils. Chris brought some groceries from their kitchen to help us out. Hollie baked some delicious cupcakes for my family. The place is a little off the beaten path and a little tough to drive to during heavy rains. However, the view from the balcony and the bedrooms is just amazing. We sat there almost all of our time just looking at the jungle, the ocean in the distance, and listening to the sounds of nature surrounding us. My kids loved reading their books in the hammock listening to the birds and the rainfall. This was a great place to unwind and recharge. We went to the beaches and restaurants in town (about 15-30 minutes away), but for the most part we preferred staying at the cabin. My wife and I enjoyed our morning walks on the mountain road seeing the colorful birds fly by. We would love to come back in the future. Thanks Chris and Hollie.

We had an amazing stay at Francisco’s condo, which truly became our second home for two weeks! The space was perfect for our family, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The neighborhood was safe, peaceful, and beautiful, and my daughter especially loved spending time at the pool. While we spent much of our trip visiting family nearby, we cherished our mornings walking to the local market or Moose Coffee and having the condo as a welcoming home base to return to. Francisco was incredibly responsive and friendly, always ready with helpful suggestions and guidance whenever we had questions. I highly recommend this condo and would book again without hesitation!

We have already visited Pinilla on several occasions. For us its location and safety is most valuable. By joy, on this occasion our stay was up to par with the house and its hosts Veronica and Mahomet.

Our stay was fantastic. Daniel and Adrian (+ their team) were super responsive and made our trip so easy. They helped schedule all of the activities we wanted to do and transportation to anywhere in Costa Rica. I have never experienced service like this from an AirBnB host. 10/10 is an understatement. The place was clean and fit what we were looking for. Walkable to downtown La Fortuna. Very friendly as well. Pura Vida!!!

Super place to unwind, not a tourist trap. Tanyia and Rod were great hosts. We would recommend their place(s) to anyone and would return there as well. The views were amazing! Birds including toucans, monkeys, lots of free range cows 😊.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Best rental accommodation we have ever stayed in as a family of five. The house and views are better in person than the photos. We loved seeing monkeys, a sloth, exotic birds, iguanas, and geckos all from the backyard pool area. The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table - the game room was a hit. The only downside with little kids are the rooms all have separate entrances opening to a hallway outside, so you cannot hear them from the master bedroom. But we would return to this place and I very much hope to in the near future! The concierge service, restaurants, and nearby activities are also outstanding!
