Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place for you! Kick back and relax in this stylish home, far enough out of the city to get away, but close enough to enjoy the benefits of city life. Be aware - the house sits on a .5 mile bumpy dirt road, worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Due to the location, the best we can do is a data-limited hotspot for WIFI. So, we added a game room. Pets are welcome. The cost is $30 a night per pet that is paid separately.

Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Inside you'll find a well-appointed one-bedroom space offering a peaceful retreat, & the living area provides a cozy spot to relax after a day of enjoying all that Raleigh has to offer. On just over 2 acres you can Relax and “Reset” at our peaceful and spacious getaway. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the country but be minutes from restaurants, shopping, downtown Wake Forest and all of the wonderful things our community has to offer. Our land hosts amazing sunrises and sunsets and a star show at night that you most definitely don’t get in town! June of 2021 we finished up a complete re-design/remodel of our modern farmhouse so everything is updated fresh and new!

Stay on a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to the Raleigh/Durham area - 20 min. from Interstate 85 & 50 min. from 95. Interact with our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats, donkeys, & more. Shop our farm store, stroll the property. Tours are free for registered guests. Friends may join the tour for a fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Twenty stairs lead up to the 700 sq ft over-the-garage apartment with private entrance. Includes a king bed & pullout couch.

This charming retreat is a minute’s walk to Falls Dam, the Neuse River, and the Greenway, with miles of trails for you to explore. This 1901 bungalow still maintains much of its historic charm, though it is newly renovated and stylishly furnished for the utmost comfort and enjoyment during your stay. **We charge a separate $30 per pet/per night fee AFTER you book.

Screened porches, a spacious open concept living room/kitchen area, with two adorable bedrooms.

You’ll feel like you’re getting away from it all in this modern, private tiny house in the trees, even though you’re just minutes from Duke, downtown Durham, shopping, and restaurants. It’s the perfect balance of peaceful retreat and city convenience. The home includes all the essentials — full kitchen, laundry, A/C, and high-speed internet — but many guests find themselves spending most of their time relaxing on the screened-in porch, listening to birds, and recharging.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
