This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

Breath taking walks can be accessed from the doorstep which can take you along the beautiful coastal path and/or venture through farmland and take in the fresh air.

You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Pen and Maes Cottage Criccieth

A 200 year old stone cottage with original beams . Known in Welsh as ‘Ty Capel’ it was originally the caretaker’s house for the Baptist Chapel next door , now my home. The stream running through the garden is where Lloyd George , a former British Prime Minister was baptised . The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views towards Criccieth Castle and the sea /mountains of Cardigan Bay. The cottage has been decorated all through with new carpets everywhere.
