Several beaches are a few minutes drive away and numerous walks around the surrounding area. Dungloe (An Clochan Liath) is only a 6km drive with bars, restaurants and shops.

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Hughie Anne's Thatched Cottage

This cosy 2 bedroom thatched cottage is situated in Sheskinarone, just outside the town of Dungloe (2km). It is ideally located for exploring and enjoying Donegal. You will have the entire cottage + ample parking .Sleeps 5 in two bedrooms, has an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, and a stove with original stone fireplace. Our hot tub is an added extra for your enjoyment.This requires some effort as it is wood burning & needs to be filled and lit by guest. We do not supply logs .

A unique stay on Lough Erne. This fully floating house boat is finished to an exceptional standard. The accommodation is open plan with a full size double bed, and a sofa bed that converts to a double bed. A travel cot can included upon request. There is a fully functioning kitchen complete with electric hob, oven & fridge. Outside there is a Weber charcoal BBQ for guests use (fuel not included). There is a full shower room. During your visit, we recommend you go on a few nice hikes (greatest view points and landscapes) and wander on the country's best beaches!
