Country Retreat close to The Woodlands w/Pool

Stay 5 Min from The Woodlands in this one-of-a-kind retreat next to the Jones State Forest. 1/2 mile to walking, biking, or horseback riding on forest trails. At night you’ll gaze at twinkling constellations poolside or relax in our massage chair or jetted garden tub. Attend an outdoor concert at the nearby Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, one of the top amphitheaters in America. We are 5 min from The Woodlands Medical Center, and 10 min from The Woodlands Mall where you can shop till you drop.

The Canal House

Our little getaway sits on a canal that leads into Lake Conroe. The marina at the lake offers jet skis and boats for rent. Our house comes with a canoe and a kayak. It also offers fishing in the canal. Very quiet, serene place with lots of beautiful birds. We particularly like to sit on the back porch and watch the egrets fly by or the ducks swimming in the canal. Perfect place for respite and recharge, or ramp it up and go jet skiing on the lake. Or both! This is a non-smoking home.

Modern Forest Unit A

Drive through the forest on a short gravel road and come to a surprisingly modern building. With high ceilings, lots of windows, a separate office (with fiber internet), large closet, and back porch with outside storage. With a pond to fish, feel like you are out in the country but only 8 miles to HEB (Supermarket) 7 miles to charming downtown Conroe. With restaurants, a Brewery a Meadery, lots of live music and many other activities. 17 miles has you eating dinner waterfront on Lake Conroe.

This mini-apartment is in the top section of a barn and you may have to duck your head. There is a queen-sized bed and an additional mattress for someone else if needed. Enjoy our second floor suite. Family friendly great room & game area with ping pong/pool table, convenient pull out Queen size sofa bed & kitchenette. Clean 3/4 Bathroom has shower stall. Quiet bedroom with king sized bed & set of twin bunks . Separate entrance through garage provides privacy. There are not shared spaces, but the guest suite is connected to our home.
