Soak up the Calm at an East Nashville Colby Guest House

Head to Downtown Broadway for a lively night in the city's famous honky tonks from an expansive escape in East Nashville. The tranquillity of Shelby Park is a short drive or ride away from this airy oasis close to downtown and Five Points. Walk up into a modern, spacious cottage with private bedroom. The kitchen includes a full sized refrigerator, microwave, range, toaster and complete set of kitchenware. Coffee, tea assorted snack bars, filtered water and water bottles are complimentary. Guests can play games, eat or work at the extendable dining table and relax while enjoying cable tv on the new sofa that extends into a full bed. A private bedroom features a queen bed, reading lamps and closet with iron, fan and extra pillows and linens. The bathroom has soft, fluffy towels, a large shower and sizable vanity. There are several areas to store luggage, etc. and a washer and dryer tucked away in a closet for your use if needed. There is a large parking spot right next to the private entrance. Climb one flight of stairs to access the entire second floor over our garage. Additional free parking is available on the street. We live in the house across the yard so are here to help if you need anything. Edgefield is one of the closest areas to downtown, but it also has a life of its own. There are music venues within a few blocks and this quiet, historic spot is home to many restaurants, cafes, bars, and a brewery within easy reach of the property. Walking to nearby destinations gives you a chance to view the architecture, landscape and interact with great people. Bikes can be reserved at East Park Community Center and scooters are available to rent all around the neighborhood. Uber and Lyft drivers arrive within minutes. Short Term Rental Permit 2019003480

The Little Phoenix on Fatherland, Hip Home Mid-Century Flair

The Little Phoenix is accessed from a private parking area off of the Alley behind the main house with it's own entrance gate and private back yard. Ideal for a couple or a group of 3 there is also a full size kitchen. I live full-time in time in the main house and work in the neighborhood (I am an architect and actually designed both the main house and the guest house you will be staying in). There is additional on-street parking on Fatherland Street in front of the main house. I love showing off the main house, so if you are interested in design - request a tour. The home is in bustling East Nashville, a short walk from a variety of cafes, restaurants, and shops. Head to Lockeland Table and the Public House for some of the best local food and neighborhood hangouts on the east side. STR Permit #2020049209 I walk all the time to most outings and to the park and the bus runs in front of the house, so public transportation is an option. Downtown is 18 blocks away - a 2-5 minute Lift ride. Nashville requires this listing to include the Short Term Rental Permit number, which is #. The Little Phoenix is a passion project that only came about with the tragedy of a devastating house fire at the main house. It was a forced re-invention of sorts of the entire property and allowed me to create a private guest house to share.

Luxurious Cozy Guesthouse

This space is completely private and separate from the main residence. It has a king size bed, bathroom with shower, full kitchen, and living area with flat screen and cable. Vaulted ceilings with thick wooden beams give the apartment a spacious feel. The floor is done in a terra cotta Mexican tile; the decor is bright and funky. French doors open to a private courtyard area connected to covered parking. It's located in historic Inglewood/East Nashville. The quiet neighborhood is covered with mature trees and is just one block from the Cumberland River. It feels like you are far from the big city, but in reality, you are minutes from Opry Mills and downtown Nashville. Hip restaurants, coffee shop, pub, and public transit are just blocks away. **We are huge child and animal lovers, but our space is not safe for children. We have a no child under 12 policy, and a not pet policy. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Enjoy a relaxing visit to Music City at our upstairs studio guest house, located a five minute walk to Five Points. We are less than two miles from Downtown/Lower Broadway, 15 minute drive to Opry Mills and a few minutes drive to Shelby Park. This is an upstairs loft apartment above our 7-year-old bungalow, located in the heart of East Nashville, a couple of blocks from the famous Mas Tacos and the Pharmacy Burger. We are now accepting some pets. Please check with us before booking. This is a beautiful one bedroom, with soaring high ceilings, decorated stylishly with a mid-century vibe. The loft has its own outside private entrance with a separate staircase and deck at the back of the home. You will have complete privacy.
