Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown Athens

We went to visit our daughter at school and wanted a place so we didn’t have to always be doing something or sit in a hotel room, this place did everything we needed! It was clean and roomie and had everything we needed and more. Next time we visit I hope to stay again! The host was amazing was super responsive and very kind! Excellent stay!

Fantastic location within walking distance to downtown and super convenient to visit UGA. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts communicated very well, very proactive and responsive. Place looks exactly like the pictures in person.

We loved our stay! Kendra was very nice, and responded extremely quick. The place was as advertised and even more spacious in person. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the check-in/check-out instructions given were very clear. Would recommend this stay to anyone on a weekend trip!

We had a great stay at Aveline’s place—spacious, spotless, and located in a quiet, new development just a short walk from Publix, restaurants, and shops. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with plenty of private space for four adults. Aveline was a thoughtful and responsive host who checked in to make sure everything met our expectations. The area felt safe and peaceful, and I’d absolutely stay again if I’m ever back in town.

Very convenient location for a short stay to go to a wedding in Jefferson. The stores and restaurants in walking distance came in handy. Well kept grounds and awesome amenities. Convenient to DT Athens. Only 10 min drive. The unit was very spacious and beds were comfortable. We would definitely book this again when visiting family.

Space was just what I needed. Easy to find, easy to access, comfortable and clean.

This unit was very clean, with the photos and description matching what we encountered while using the it. It is in a fantastic location as it's on the edge of downtown, across from campus and walkable to local attractions (i.e., UGA sporting events, fraternity houses for parents' weekend, etc.). The reserved parking is a huge benefit as parking is difficult downtown and close to UGA campus. Overall, it was a great experience and we hope to return soon.

I was with a group that was looking for a convenient, clean and safe location in downtown Athens, and this place was great. Centrally located, on site parking for multiple cars, attractive unit with great beds, clean bathrooms and plenty of supplies. We were worried that it would be noisy since it was downtown on a weekend, but the location of the unit on the 6th floor combined with the location in the building minimized the noise levels. Our only suggestion is that the bathrooms could use some refreshing due to wear and tear, but otherwise it was a great place to stay and we hope to stay there again. We also loved that Jittery Joe's coffee was offered around the clock in the lobby, and the personnel on the front desk could not have been nicer or more helpful, but in advance and during check in and check out.

We came up for our daughter’s graduation and felt right at home. Very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Easy to get to all of our events for the weekend.

Great location, it was very easy to explore downtown Athens. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was nice to have on-site parking. It very much has a hotel feel, though we rarely saw other guests. Overall it was pretty quiet, and well-maintained. The only minor complaint would be that the garbage truck stops at the fish place next door about 6AM some days. That will wake you up! Overall a good place, we would definitely consider staying staying here our next time in Athens.

Our stay was perfect. The location was a short walk to campus and restaurants. The home was very clean and cozy with all necessary amenities. Thank you Sandra for a great visit. Will definitely look to stay again down the road!

We’ve stayed in several AirBnBs in Athens the past four years. This one is the best location and nicest of all of them! The location makes everything downtown walkable and even walked to Sanford. Her description, instructions, and customer service were excellent! It was perfect for two sets of parents during our UGA student’s parents weekend.

Beds are comfortable as well as sofa. We had everything we needed for our parents weekend stay for 2 couples. We walked to everything downtown, easy in and out parking for our event that was further out. There is noise at night (Athens doesn't sleep!) but that didn't bother us. We used the sound machine on our phones and slept great! Front desk staff is also friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful place to stay for a busy weekend! Megan and Jeff were wonderful hosts and their home is just gorgeous! We hope to be back next year...without falling down!

We traveled from out of state to meet up with friends. This was the perfect space for four adults. The space was very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable as well. We would visit again! Thank you Ricky for being a great host!

This property was about 10 minutes away from UGA. It was an easy drive back and forth to campus. The kitchen will well stocked as we were able to cook our meals. The dinning room was big enough for the 7 of us to sit comfortably and enjoy our time together. We enjoyed an afternoon in the living room - the couches were comfortable, the TV was great. All of the bedrooms were upstairs. The beds were comfortable. We had no issues at all. I would stay again with no hesitation. Karim was responsive , easy to communicate with and kind.

Such a great home in a great location. Close enough to everything at UGA and downtown Athens, but far enough away to have a more homey suburban feel. The beds are super comfortable, the giant sofa (not pictured) is awesome for lounging, all of the provided entertainment (pool table, foosball table etc) is a real bonus and the backyard is so large and private. It is perfect for morning coffee especially with the birds chirping and the deer wandering through. I will definitely book this home again for future trips to Athens.

"The Scholar" is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay on the lake. The unit was as described, clean, well stocked kitchen, nice beds and linens and close to Athens. Natasha was very helpful from messages prior to arrival, to the check-in process and directions, to places to eat and see, and finally check-out. She was always prompt with responses and information. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay here and we'll definitely return for any futures trips to the area. Thanks Natasha!
